Safe on paintwork - but may require several applications
This is the first polish I've tried, following the recent purchase of a dual action polisher, so I've nothing to compare it against. I used it with my DA polisher (set to 5) and a tangerine H20 Lake country pad, which is on the border between a polishing pad and a cutting pad.It took two applications of the polish before I could really see a difference, but if you've got the time to spend then this is a safe method of removing swirls as you can keep repeating the process until all your swirls and light scratches are gone, without removing more clearcoat than you have to. My paintwork could probably do with another application or two to produce the results I'm after.I don't know how effective this product would be if applied by hand, but it takes quite a bit of work even with a machine polisher. If you want decent results without a machine then you'd probably be better using something like Autoglym Super Resin Polish, which uses filler to (temporarily) hide swirls and scratches instead of fixing them.

Great for clouded headlights and tarnished paint
I’m finding poor boys kit is untouchable at the price point for the quality of the products and it’s gradually replacing all my Meg/AGlym/Sexwax etc. The SSSR2 is great as it’s easy to do a good job by hand without swirl marks. If you pull your fingernails down the paint and can feel little bits of dirt in the paint, this will pull all of those out leaving It gleaming. It’s tough enough for that but also soft enough to remove the clouding from plastic headlights. Remember Poor Boys Black Hole Glaze to fill in many scratches if you can’t machine buff your paint too.

Not very effective if you are using by hand, ...
Not very effective if you are using by hand, requires multiple layering to achieve the desired results. Comparable with any 3M, Formula 1 swirl remover doesn't stand out as such
