I put off purchasing this air fryer for a little bit, mostly because I thought it was kinda expensive. So I waited and bought it during Amazon Prime days and saved a little bit. We have used the fryer quite a bit so far, and I can honestly say that it is worth every penny and you get what you pay for. The app has a lot of recipes that are well written and include photos. The fryer is simple to use, and clean up is super easy. One of the reasons I wanted it is because we love to cook chicken wings. We had a Ninja Foodie before this, and it air fried the wings well, but cleaning the air fryer afterwards made it more trouble than it was worth. The Typhur Dome perfectly air fries wings and since there are heating elements on the top and bottom, you don't have to flip them over during the cook. Cleaning the basket following the cook couldn't have been easier, and I love the unit itself has a self cleaning feature to take care of anything that may have gotten on the heating elements. It also air frier makes crispy french fries and onion rings. Very happy with the product!

This is the BEST air fryer, there’s only two of us but I’m so happy with the amount of food I can cook. It’s the great for reheating leftovers. The microwave is taking a break and may retire. Cleaning is not a problem. I loaded it up with garden ripe Roma tomatoes with onion, peppers and garlic, some seasoning and it was the best sauce ever. After it had cooled, I put it in the blender to make an amazing marinara sauce. Coated some peppers & patty pan squash with olive oil and seasoning and they were roasted to perfection. Marinated steak cut into bite size pieces was perfect with roasted potatoes & veggies. NOTHING sticks, don’t need parchment paper. I’m still learning but I can’t believe how intuitive it is to operate. I was very skeptical about replacing my 14 year old toaster oven but I can say it won’t be missed. I haven’t tried baking with it but that’s next.Yes, it’s pricey but so far, I’m happy to report this was a no brainer. Eating at home, healthy food, saving time & money. Every meal is an adventure in good taste & health. You deserve it!

There's a lot of confusing information floating around about harmful chemicals on the cooking area or inside the basket. You'll have to do your own research there. I can tell you this cook better than any air fryer ive ever owned. I would highly recommend it, but the company should do something about the app functionality. The app is very limited for setting up cook times temperatures and fan speeds. I had to reach out to the company to understand the fan speed options, which are just controlled through the different settings on the front. You don't really get a direct fan speed control. So for example, if you're cooking a pizza you have to start slowly so don't blow off the pizza. But if you want a very crispy, Krust, you have to step up the fan speed. If you step up the temperature, you'll burn the toppings, but you have to wait until the top is nice and melted before you can turn up the fan speed or the blow all over the inside and over the coil. I almost exclusively use the bacon setting, which is low fan speed and then adjust the temperature according to what I'm cooking. I haven't figured out how to use the other buttons. The company isn't very helpful telling which button to use. I've cooked steak, fish, chicken and once you figure out the settings it turns out perfectly. I feel like the app should be more useful to help you with the settings and they should provide more help on setting fan speeds cook times and temperature. The wide flat basket makes it much more useful than the deep basket air fryers. It's easy to clean. if it wasn't for the frustration, of not knowing the settings. I'm having to deal with that each time and remember what worked best last time I would give this thing five stars at $500 it should be a lot more user-friendly. If you do email the company, they are extremely helpful, but I don't wanna email the company every time I wanna cook a meal.UPDATE: 10/13/24I am bumping my review to five stars because the performance and design is excellent, and the fact that the customer service actually care to improve and support the product. It's the best air fryer on the market hands down. Customer service did continue to work with me and the communication was exceptional. With their assistance, I've been able to use the device much better. I would love to see the app be more useful. For example, if you're cooking a pizza, it needs to start out slow, but then pick up at the end to crisp the crust. Maybe in the app if they had different examples thick piece of salmon thin piece of salmon cod chicken, wings, chicken breast, thin chicken breast, breaded chicken or whatever.

Excellent product. Large capacity. Easy to clean. Even cooking. It is easy to operate. The only thing you smell is the food cooking. The food tastes great and the product is well designed and should be very durable. I expect it to serve me well for many years to come. It is a totally unique looking product which is fun. I placed it in a bamboo roller shelf for easy access. Excellent product. Great value. We use it all the time.
