BentoX - Top Tube Frame Mounted Aero Bento Bike Storage System for Cycling and Triathlon

The bento box certainly won’t let anything out, and getting things in is tight. I needed to drill an extra hole at the rear to get it slid forward enough. Reviews from the inception of this product have stated there needs to be a 3rd set of holes, but it’s easy enough to add them.The box isn’t huge, but you could keep a couple gels or bloks in it. Overall, I like it.

The pics for TorHans BentoX really should include what it looks like and how it works. I actually thought this was a closed box when purchased. There is a rubberized opening on the top that clasps gels and whatever else you want to put in there. It does look pretty sweet and although I have not tested this on the road, I am pretty sure they will stay put better than taping gels to top tube.

Great product and fits amazing

Saw some decent reviews about how well it fits with a Cervelo P3, etc. and took a chance. Big Mistake...item broke after 1 ride and the storage capacity is a total joke. I literally could not store a bike tube, nor tire levers. I tried to store a standard SiS gel and it exploded because it wouldn't fit inside...1 GEL!!!! I have no idea what this is supposed to keep inside, but it's nothing that any actual cyclist would need. This product was terrible

Looks good not really functional since you can hardly put anything in it. You can probably put 3 gels , that’s it. It won’t even hold your emergency pack.

Silly to sell something without more explicit / bold warnings that it doesn’t come with mounting equipment nor will it accommodate most tri bikes ie no top bolts. just silly marketing. Probably a fine product, hence 3 stars, if you have the right bike. lack of stars are for description.

fits my cervelo P2 almost perfectly...very slight overhang towards the front but nothing very noticeable / likely not material additional drag. fits about 2-3 GU gels so i wouldn't expect to use this for a ton of storage, but it gets the job done for shorter distances where you may not need a ton of additional nutrition. one thing though, it has a cutout for cables if they get routed through the frame -- they didn't fit quite as well for me so i just adjusted this backwards a bit, still works and is fine but not quite as integrated or seamless as some of the pictures might indicate (i.e. there's a 2" space between the front of this and the stem)

Great product

Very stable and secures nicely to the top tube. The box can be adjusted up/down the top tube to cater for clearance with the stem and headset. The rubber cover is a little tight so might need some getting used to for removal of items.I like it as most bento boxes come with zips which will disintegrate over time from the sweat and salt.
