Because I use an app for my speed runs, I bought these shorts for the pocket to carry my phone. Not only are they great for carrying my iPhone without it bouncing around, they are also the most comfortable shorts I have ever run in. I have always run in workout shorts, but the feeling of running in these compression shorts is noticeably better. I don't wear anything under them or over them when I'm running outside, but that may change if I wear them to the gym. I'm 5'8" and 155 lbs, and I sized up to large and am glad I did.

Fitment was perfect, wish the pocket was a little deeper for large phones - especially with cases. Overall the phone did not budge or fall, just felt a little floppy.
