Victorian Dress for Women with Corset, Flare Sleeve, Vintage Long Under Dress

absolutely loved how this dress looked for renfair super flattering and worked great with my generic brown corset- material is super light and breathable but did house sweat under the corset (not the dresses fault), loved the color combo.

I really liked how this dress looked on. The corset is a separate piece, so if you dont like the fit of that, you can purchase a separate one and use that. I didn't mind the original one it came with, and it fit really well. I got an xl but honestly could have worn a L since the waist is stretchy and the bodice was a little loose in xl. Overall tho, I would reccomend this as a first time ren faire costume or halloween costume.

the dress fit perfectly and in a nice lightweight material. elastic at the waist and accommodating. the corset was another story. it wasn’t even close to being the correct size (at least 3 to 4 sizes smaller) and had no stretch at all. i will use the dress but am going to have to find another corset.

Ordered Feb. 25th, delivered March 16th. Shipping is VERY slow so don't expect it to show up on time for your event if you order at the last minute. Tracking was nearly non existent through this 3rd party shipper - there were three weeks of vague tracking entries about "the package arrived at the carrier facility" and "package left the carrier facility" (since there was no information supplied about the item's location in real time it tells you next to nothing about the tracking journey). After a long wait, it finally got here.Now that I have that frustration out of the way, this dress mostly works for my Ren-Faire costume. I'm 151 lbs, 5'2" and I ordered a medium. I decided not to wear the cinch/corset piece because I do not have a tiny girl's waist anymore (alas) and it does not fit as snugly as it appears in the stock photo. So, I replaced the laced cincher with a brown "Renaissance" PU-leather belt also from Amazon, a cute one with an attached pouch. To be honest this dress looks just fine without the cincher. It is not necessary for the costume. Also I was concerned about the length but it works well on my short frame. It doesn't sweep the floor, and rests about three inches above my ankles. No petticoat or hoop slip is necessary. I have no complaints about the quality of the dress. It is of decent quality and wearable out of the package and not wrinkled much at all. The dress fits more like a L with plenty of extra room and the cincher seems to be an XS and it is strange how these two differing sizes are paired together. I'm pleased with the fit and appearance of the dress; it is comfortable, and a fine costume, especially after accessorizing. I'm ready for the Faire!

Ordered a xxl and literally had to cut it off of me because it wouldn’t go past my chest. If you’re going to get the short dress order it at least 4 sizes bigger than your size.

The dress was a disappointment. Had I known in advanced it was made in China I would not have ordered it. The entire lower back of the dress was made of black color material which was unacceptable and I will have to purchase fabric to make it look authentic. The corset was extremely small not at all what a corset should look like.Shame on Amazon for not letting customers know that a country who doesn't have a clue of what the Renaissance period was like and about sell Renaissance period clothing.Shame on Amazon for allowing 50% of the market place be crowed by made in China products rather than supporting products made in America.

Nice material, well made. Size seems to run slightly large.
