I recently purchased the KJK228 Trail Camera, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations! As an avid wildlife enthusiast, I've tried various cameras over the years, but this one truly stands out for several reasons.First off, the innovative Wi-Fi connection and APP control make it incredibly user-friendly. The dedicated "TrailCam GO" app is a game-changer, allowing me to program the camera and check photos and videos on the go without the hassle of downloading them first. The inclusion of a 64GB memory card and 8 AA batteries right out of the box is a fantastic bonus, ensuring that I was ready to start capturing moments immediately.The image quality is simply stunning. With an incredible 84MP still image resolution and the capability to shoot UHD 8K videos, I was amazed at how clear and detailed every shot was. The premium starlight optical lens truly shines, especially in low-light conditions. Speaking of low-light, the night vision feature is remarkable. The 42-piece 950nm No-Glow LED array captures crisp images and videos in complete darkness without disturbing any wildlife. It’s impressive how well the adaptive illumination technology works.I also love the fast trigger speed of 0.05 seconds and the 130° wide-angle detection. I've caught so many exciting moments that I might have otherwise missed. The camera's ability to take 1-5 photos per trigger gives me the flexibility to capture the scene the way I want. Had a little trouble figuring out placement. Want to use it for small animals in my yard. I contacted customer service, received an answer overnight. Made a few adjustments, pictures and videos galore. Lots of squirrels and chipmunks, and a red fox, marking his territory! Uses a lot of batteries. I’m switching to rechargeable lithium ion batteries. 1.5 volt. Produces .jpg and .mp4 so completely compatible with my iPad Pro and older iPhone 13 Pro. I’m really happy e WiFi function. I can watch a live picture and record a picture or video at the touch of a button. The WiFi function works well, occasionally need two tries to connect, but it’s very fast. I would recommend this trail cam and would buy it again

Good price, fairly easy to use. Eats batteries if activated frequently. I able to quickly identify the mysterious critter digging holes near my house, which made it easy to discourage it.

The media could not be loaded. I have purchased two of these. They are watching our backyard. We feed birds and other wildlife and like to know what’s happening out there at night.These are great. The picture quality is good and I can log into them and look at photos/videos from my bedroom! Perfect for my application.

Unboxed my camera today, in order to set it up/install it ahead of time as a birthday surprise for my dad. As soon as I put the batteries (that came with the camera) in, the camera settings showed the batteries were only at 60%. I thought that was odd but hoped somehow they’d magically charge or maybe it would just take time for the camera/TrailCameraGo app to register the percentage accurately.. Once I went through the camera’s settings to program everything, I mounted it to a tree using the strap and turned the camera to OFF. Several hours later (at night time) I walked out to turn it on. I logged into the TrailCam app, and it informed me my camera battery was low and would power off soon. Seconds later, camera was totally dead. So now I have a trail camera that doesn’t work, and I live an hour and a half away from any stores (where I could buy more batteries… but I should not HAVE to buy batteries! That’s why I chose this camera in the first place- because it was suppose to have everything I needed to get it up and running!) Now I will not be able to get the camera working in time for my Dad’s birthday party. So yeah. I’m bummed. And I contacted the “Help” (via chat through the Trail Cam app) and that was no help. Customer service told me, and I quote: “Your battery is not unpacked and is a new one. Battery wear and tear cannot be avoided, please replace the battery. Sorry.“In conclusion, if you’re like me, buying this camera because it’s super convenient that it comes with everything you need? DON’T. Go with a camera that either comes with WORKING batteries, or just a better quality camera and buy your own batteries to go with that. ;PI will update my review if/when I receive any satisfactory response from customer service.Update: just letting everyone know that customer service never helped.. just said that the batteries can have “normal wear and tear” from the warehouse. 🧐 So… I’m paying for a brand new product that, by the time it ships to me is at 60% and 0% functional within 24 hours. (These are not rechargeable batteries by the way.) not okay.Update: almost 3 months later, and customer service never helped. Camera does not work at all any more. I do not recommend buying from the company!
