The Selfish Book: And other stories inspired by Oscar Wilde

What a wonderful little book! I would be happy to read these stories to my children as they grow up. I am such a fan of Oscar Wilde whose prose swung wildly on an emotional spectrum, so to speak. The Golden Tree and the Blue Butterfly by Andrew Lawson, was colorful, sad, and redemptive, like life. This was my favorite story. Another, The Selfish Book, was also something I would have loved to have been read to as a child. A lovely lesson to learn. There are more, one painful, but so real, and the others very nicely told lessons of life. All told creatively. A great book to have in your library while your children are growing! :)
