A-Premium 10'' 10 inch Universal Slim Fan Electric Radiator Cooling Fan Assembly, 12V 80W with Mount Kit

Fabricated up a quick shroud because I was not about to pull the radiator and mess with the pass through plastic mounting hardware. Keeps the car cool and only turns on when needed. It’s amazing how much quieter the car is without the engine driven fan.

The media could not be loaded.  This 10" fan is compact but powerful. We were looking for a good solution to keep our operating temperatures stable without mounting to the box itself. This fan was small enough to mount directly to our frame. I also bought a temperature controller as well. With the thermostat, I can control when I want it to turn on and off (only complaint was its only in Celsius, not Fahrenheit, but its easy to Google to get the right temps). Works perfectly for cooling our commercial hydrogen generators, and wont turn on until cooling is needed so it isn't running endlessly. In testing, it came on and shut off exactly as programmed. The controller can also be used for heating instead of cooling if you need one for that purpose.NOTE: Normally a box fan circulating air comes on and stays on. But literally within 30 seconds to a minute this fan brought the temps down to the low setting we programmed, then shut off. Really efficient cooling! We like it so much we are going to start putting them on all our units.

The media could not be loaded.  I just installed this on one end of a 12-foot shipping container, with two 12-inch vents at opposite ends of container. The container is powered by solar and the controller has a 12-volt DC output voltage with a feature to turn a device on/off automatically. The controller provides power to the fan. The setup and the fan work as a champ to move air out of the shipping container when the sun is out and as the container gets hot. Although not installed for its intended purpose, I'm sure it'll work for a car as well, if enough clearance. Quality seems to be good, but only time will tell. I would buy again.
