Best yarn for Amigurumi crochet projects

It is my preferred yarn for my amirgurumi crochet projects. Colors are beautiful with a soft sheen. The yarn doeesn't split! It does not stretch which is important for stuffed projects so they hold the shape even after hard stuffing and wash. I use a 2.5mm crochet hook. Schachenmayr Catania for me!

Beautiful

I love the vibrant colors. I did not pay attention to the size of the yarn (size 2) which is thinner than what I needed; however, the colors and softness of the yarns (6 pack pastel) are absolutely marvelous and will fit for another project I am working on.
