Easy to See and Use
I used to use a small level on the floor or counter top of my RV to check for level prior to setting up because I really didn't want to place silly little levels on the outside of my 5th Wheel. Now being that the AccuLevel is not small by any means I was quite hesitant to purchase it because I wanted to simplify my setup. The AccuLevel has done just that.Once installed and adjusted to a leveled RV it works great! The first thing I realized was that I could tell as I was backing into a site was how level it was side to side by watching the AccuLevel in my rearview mirror. I could adjust the placement of the trailer to get closer to level or if that was not possible then lay down a set of leveler blocks to bring up the low side. Then setting the front back level is just as easy buy watching the smaller level from the outside and using the front jacks.Yes it is low tech for a world with 6 point leveling systems and such but when those systems don't work or you don't have them you need a reliable way to level your rig. The AccuLevel is such a device.

Big and Fantastic!!
This level is awesome! We put it on the front of our fifth wheel camp trailer. You can see it clear enough in the rear view mirror to know if you are in a level spot. So it saves you having to continually jump in and out of the truck to check the tiny levels that come on the trailer. Order one, you won't be disappointed.

Easy to see level
I just installed this level. It was pretty easy to install for the most part. I ended up tapping treads for the bolts instead of just trying to use self threading screws. I leveled the camper with the automatic leveling system on the camper first and then mounted the level. I haven’t tried it at a campground yet though. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I will get to try it out. It does have some adjustments if needed.

I have been using this level now for a year and it has held up pretty good despite my jury rig adjustment to the smaller ...
I had been using other leveling systems that are smaller and have the anti freeze colored fluids in them. Alternatively they would fall off or break off so I finally decided to get this one for leveling my RV. The mercury bubble inside works in the opposite direction to what the smaller units I am used to using. By that I mean if the mercury bubble is the left, that is the side that needs to be raised some. Once I got the hang of that it was a lot easier to level because it is easier to see the large side to side mercury bubble from a distance. The fore/aft smaller level is an air bubble, and the adjustment screw on the top ledge allows adjusting it to be level with the hull it is mounted on. The only reason I did not rate it a five is that most trailers do not have a vertical fore hull and there is not enough leeway to adjust the foreaft bubble to make it perfectly horizontal. What I ended up doing was to dismantle the back plate, and move the thin washer plate that holds the fore/aft leveling mechanism in place enough to achieve fore aft level. In the process of doing that I also managed to nearly strip the thin washer holding the fore/aft bubble in place.I have been using this level now for a year and it has held up pretty good despite my jury rig adjustment to the smaller fore aft level. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a permanent convenient solution. One addition to this unit that would really help would be packing a few extra spacers for mounting on angled RV hulls.

Great little gadget
Great little gadget. This makes leveling RV very easy. Level side to side with chocks and then forward and back with jacks. Unless you have an automatic leveling system, this is a must. Makes it easy to level by yourself. You can mount it anywhere but I recommend mounting as directed.Update: I had to replace (under warranty) my Acculevel as it started leaking fluid out of it. Installed new one and all is good. I still like it and its practicality. Easy to read and once you get it adjusted, it is easy to get your unit leveled perfectly.

Nice product.
Works great but had to use two rubber wedge door stops glued to my trailer's front to make this gauge sit almost square to the ground otherwise the front slope of my trailer would not permit the ball to roll properly as intended and the lineal front to rear standard level could not be levelled out due to insufficent adjustment. This item would work best on front square to the ground trailers or those with very little inclination. Perhaps they (Camco) should survey the range of most popular trailers in so far as their front angles and include some various angles wedges or adjustable wedges or adjustable metal wings on the gauge so it can be mounted properly! Dahhh, a little engineering here would go a long way to making this an ideal accessory for one's RV.

Easy peasy .....
I installed this in the sight-line of my driver's side mirror and couldn't believe the difference it made in trying to get the trailer level on our campsite. Easy to read, even from a distance.PS -- Within a month after installation, we purchased a new rig. So I ordered another one!

Nice big size, easy to view while backing up in the rear view mirror.
In my case I had to install a plastic backboard for the level to attach too. The trailer siding was not totally smooth, had a corrugated appearance.

I mounted this with screws as I found that levels never stay with just tape in the heat.
I mounted this with screws as I found in the past that levels never stay with just tape in the heat.

Works good
Works well but on a fifth wheel not many locations to mount that are flat. Should include brackets to mount on the hitch

Replaced existing faded one. Exact same hole pattern
Was worried about hole pattern changes for install on my Airstream. A perfect replacement.
