Me and my ten-year-old play this a LOT! It's easy to learn, but great gameplay, and perfectly portable. (We also love Skull King by Grandpa Beck.)

I read the small book of instructions first time round and it went straight over my head for some reason, (although I’m blonde and menopausal so that may be why!), but when I started following the instructions with the pack of card it all fell into place and it became really enjoyable very quickly. The art on the cards are what originally attracted me to the game, but the game itself is great. It’s a bit similar to the principles of the card game rummy in that you can make sets of 4 of a kind or a sequence of cards, except you continue to build sets until the cards run out and the winner is the one who has accumulated the most. I played it as 2 players and it was fun, I can imagine you would need to be more tactical with a greater number of players. I like the fact that it’s the person who last ate mushrooms goes first as my husband doesn’t like mushrooms and I think this gives me a good advantage! The game is packaged well in a nice small box, it is great to have in the game’s cupboard. I’ve purchased 2 more grandpa beck games for Christmas and have yet to play them, but they all seem great quality.

I've got a number of games from this wholesome feeling company. I like them all so far. The cards always seem good quality. The art is nice, clear, friendly, pleasing, happy. This is a sweet game for our Halloween season.

Bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter who really enjoyed it. We watched a YouTube video so it was easy to follow and play, although the instructions are pretty clear. A quick game for 2-4 players.

Really fun game to play. We played as a family of 4 with a 5 and 7 year old so very accessible:)

Love Grampa becks games. This one was hard to figure out from instructions but a YouTube video of game play was all we needed. Once you know what to do very fun game

Jeu de cartes où l'on doit faire des collections avec un système de pose et de stop ou encore. Pour ceux qui connaissent il a un petit air de captain carcasse . Mais au lieu de sorti les cartes sur une seule ligne, on les place sur 3 . Et c est là qu il devient plus stratégique . On peut soit avoir la stratégie de tenter de collecter un max de cartes. Soit d'entraver la récolte du prochain joueur. Les règles sont en anglais mais facilement traduites par Google traducteur image. Et on trouve des vidéos YouTube aussi . Pour moi une petite pépite qui fait que je ne vais plus hésiter à me défaire de captain carcasse. Car je préfère largement Toil &Troublez. Les cartes sont de bonne qualité . Les règles faciles . On peut très bien jouer avec des enfants à un niveau un peu moins stratégique ou entre plus grands avec plus de réflexion.

Super fun game for all ages. My husband and I enjoy playing it and my kids play it with us too. It takes about 30-40 minutes to complete and the cards are beautiful. My son got this for me for Christmas :)

Wonderful game for family game night. The instructional video doesn’t explain super well how to play, so just work through a few hands and you get it right away!

This is super easy to learn and really fun. It's become my favorite game to just keep on the kitchen table to fill pockets of time. All the kids love it too.
