Lovely little tea set for on the travel and home life!

Good set no problems

I bought this thinking I would give the Chinese way of drinking tea a try. While its certainly a fun for when I entertain friends, I'm finding that the cups are much smaller than I expected, and continuously pouring out tea into one when I'm drinking alone gets a bit cumbersome. The steam bent wood is a very nice touch that's prevented me from burning my fingers and I like how it's less prone to breaking if I take the set while traveling.The lid for the Gaiwan isn't very easy to grip and could easily slip out of your fingers, especially when its hot and you're trying to move quickly, so I end up grabbing it by the rim using a tea towel.Use a regular coffee mug when you're brewing with this alone and you'll probably enjoy using this a lot more.
