Amazing bit of kit. Get your life back during your periods!
I never write reviews but with this I feel I have to…I’m writing this after my 3rd use of this product, all I can say is AMAZING!!Not only does it hold a whole load of fluid, it is perfect for keeping the sex life going during your time of month without a big mess to clean up after!I’ve always been at my most horny during my period so I’ve tried different products such as sponges only to have leakage when heavy and my partner complain of “chafing” (bless him! 🤣) but now I’m using this he can’t feel it at all and is a very pleasant experience for us both without me constantly worrying that I’ve leaked everywhere…Can be a little fiddly to put in if you have a tilted uterus but so worth the extra effort! It comes out easily and as someone that can’t use tampax because I always feel them, this is brilliant! I can’t feel it when it’s in at all so perfect for both myself and my partner! It’s very easy to take out and easy to clean. Comes with its own little storage pouch as well that’s very discreet and would be easily put in your handbag without feeling embarrassed if someone found it…At first I thought, “£25 is a lot to spend on a product such as this” but I can tell you it is definitely worth it!! I wouldn’t recommend it for someone that hasn’t had children as it is rather large (I struggle to fit it in) so you may struggle to fit it in but it’s been a long time since I had my first child so I could be talking rubbish lolAnyway, overall, if you’re considering getting this I’d say GO FOR IT! I’m going through menopause so my periods are all over the place but I wish I’d have found this years ago because it’s a life changer, even on my heavier days when I’ve had to change 2-3 times in a couple of hours I still feel confident wearing this without constantly running to the loo to change and I got my life back as well because I don’t need to worry about leaking while I’m out.I’m Pretty sure it would be great for swimming without worrying about leakage but I’ve not tried that yet, I’ll get back to you on that one lolHope this has helped you decide, total life changer for me and my partner ;)

A painful mistake.
I have to admit that this item was scary to insert! I don't know if all the other reviewers are just really brave or they didn't want to show weakness on the internet, but I'll be honest - the cup is much wider than a tampon and when first holding it, I feared it might be damaging to use. Even though I am a mother of 5 children! I read all the reviews here and a number from Amazon.com before the package arrived, and the first 3 times I tried to put the thing in my body I panicked and stopped, thinking of the frightening US review where the person had to go to hospital to get it taken out! I managed to get it situated on the fourth attempt and had no pain, but it can't have been in the right place. After I sat around my house for a bit, it had managed to work its front edge almost into the air again. With my fifth try the Ziggy stayed in for an hour and had a little blood in it when removed, so I must have been closer to the right place, but it was getting painful and the pain continued for a couple of hours after I took it out, so I gave up then. There are some replies from company representatives on the reviews that tell you to 'check the height of your cervix compared to the length of the cup' and say the cup is properly placed if you can feel your cervix through the thin base of the Ziggy, but I couldn't find mine even without a cup in there. I am a short person with small hands and I think my fingers may be too short to reach my cervix. I really think that the Amazon listing should have something about this and it should be on the back of the box to give buyers a better idea of what they are letting themselves in for before they open the package since for obvious reasons it's not returnable once open.Update - I tried again and now wish I could give this object no stars! The pain was worse and lasted longer after removing the cup. It felt like period pain, which I haven't felt for many years, since I was a young girl - it was not just an irritation in the vagina but deep in my body. I emailed customer support at Intimina and they did answer quickly, but they had no new ideas to offer - just assurances that it's impossible to injure yourself with a Ziggy (I'm not so sure) and a link to the video which I'd already seen. I wonder how many customers just give up in embarassment at being scammed and never even post feedback. This gadget is NOT AT ALL simple or painless to try and if there was an independent trial I wonder what percentage of women would actually be able to make it work. It should probably only be available after a qualified nurse checks the person to see if their anatomy is compatible with the cup but the company would make an awful lot less money and have to admit they are trading on people's gullibility.Only try this item if you have money to throw away and a high pain threshold!
