This is a very well made, high quality product. I bought it in red and have no issues reading the text through it. Obviously, the color makes it a little more difficult to see than if it was clear, but you can see the text well enough to get the necessary information. I actually see two benefits to the colored tags: 1) It makes your bag stand out more and is easier to identify. 2) It makes it more difficult for a casual passer by to read and exploit the information from your tag. If you get up close you can read it, but from a distance it would be difficult, which I see as a security benefit. The best part of these tags is that they are Made in the USA!

We use these on ALL of our luggage. Added a big S in permanent marker for additional visibility. Makes it super easy to spot our luggage in baggage claim!

I really love these tags. They are completely flexible, so they won't get dented or bent like metal ones do. They appear to be made out of the same material as "jelly" sandals. They are quite thick, so they should be durable.You can read the ID information through them, but it is not very clear - you would need to be very close up to see it. I got the red tags, some colors may be easier to see through than others. If you want more security, you can write the info down with a pen with ink the same color as the tag - it would be very hard to read it then. Personally, I am not concerned with someone seeing my info, and I am happy that airport personnel can see it without taking it apart.

Bright and durable enough to never lose sight of luggage . What’s not to love with these bright fun colors . In a world / airport full of luggage , why wait...😊 The colors are just right to be able to see through for information . The tag also stayed put on luggage throughout entire trip .

Love the color and makes our luggage easier to identify. So far it seems sturdy. I recommend using a black sharpie to fill in the card. It made our tag easier to read.

Nice to use business card or address label inside, good noticeable color, easy to attach. But a bit heavier than I would have liked. Every ounce matters when carrying luggage.

I bought these for my daughter for camp...everything needs labeling. They worked perfectly and the hot pink color was awesome! You could clearly see her name written on the tag inside.
