Golden Retriever History
A great history and well written reference book of the Golden Retriever. Best part is now my friends have their own copies, mine is back home with me! Thanks Jeffrey for a job well done!

Nice book
Nice book but doesn’t seem new as binding had been broken front and back as if been looked through many times. Pages and print in good shape and intact.

Expands your understanding of Goldens
I really liked this book and learned a lot more about Golden Retrievers. It has an excellent chapter on the breed's history, helps owners better understand the breed standard AND provides practical knowledge about how dogs are put together. A must for your dog library.

Disappointing. Way overpriced for what it provides.
I bought this book mainly to get in depth history into the breed. I am a Lab person who is going to get her first Golden. In old books I have had on the Labrador they have gone into depth about show dogs as well as field dogs. Which is what I wanted. It is an excellent book for dog beginners on what to expect with your puppy and some very basic training suggestions. If you are a new dog owner this is a good book. For the record I rarely write reviews. And I real A LOT!

Lovely book if you love these dogs. Full of history - maybe too much USA but nevertheless very informative and interesting

Great for students of pedigree dogs
Great book for photos and some history is covered.i do know it is a American book, but much more british history of the breed should have been covered.I would have liked to have seen dogs in the book with better shoulders and more type to show the public what is correct in type.i collect canine books, having a very sizable collection of all breeds and i am very happy to have this book in my collection.
