This is a really nice shredder for the price. The size is perfect for my needs and the operation straight forward. Looks to be very well built and the handle is a nice feature making it easy to remove the top and put it back on. It cuts documents in nice small pieces ensuring security of sensitive information. It is quieter than I expected. The speed is decent. For no more than this cost, it is very nice.

It does an excellent job of shredding stacks of paper as well as individual items like credit cards or odd shaped pieces. When shredding large stacks of paper, the machine is fairly quiet but it can get a bit louder when using the other feeder. The bin is quite large and can hold a good bit of shredded paper, but it is best to remove the bin carefully as a lot of dust is produced.

This shredder is small, lightweight & perfect for home use but not powerful enough for office or heavy shredding. I use it in my home office and works well for the usual things one wants to shred for safety. It is fast, does 5-8 pages easily, will take staples & card stock or credit cards. It is quite noisy when running but that's not an issue for in this setting. It was not as expensive or heavy duty is the one I had for a number of years but satisfactory for my needs now. I would recommend it for the average home usage.

Awesome paper shedder! Shreds up to 8 sheets of paper at once. But personally I do no more than 4 just to keep this thing having a longer life span. It cuts papers perfectly so all your personal shredded information is protected! I highly recommend this paper shedder, it gets the job done!

Update: I had a TON of papers to shred. My former hb kept everything and I found two file drawers of stuff that didn't need to be kept but had personal info on a lot of it. Instead of looking through every single page, I have been shredding it all.Yesterday it shredded a LOT of paper before it overheated - I was happy. But today it is shredding much much less before it overheats, which is frustrating. So I don't know what's the difference between today and yesterday.It indicates 6 pages but I'm skeptical - sometimes more than 3-4 sheets and it struggles and sometimes becomes stuck where I have to back it up, go forward, and then try to pull out the paper.It has shredded plastic cards (like credit cards, etc) and photos where I had duplicates that I didn't need.For an inexpensive small shredder, it has done an incredible amount of shredding.--------This shredder is working well without any issues; at least so far so good. It chews up paper and cards effectively. It will turn off if it overheats and it's done that once when I had a lot of paper to shred. I waited at least 30 minutes and it shred again without any problems.This shreds with speed and ease - it's as noisy as I figured it would be so a normal amount of noise you'd expect from a shredder. Easy to empty the basket by just lifting off the top and pouring out the shredded material. The design is minimal - plastic, again, what you would expect from an inexpensive shredder. Seems to have enough power for the job for which I need it.Unlike some reviewers, fortunately I did not have any sticky residue on my machine.

This works well and is fast, but rather noisy. Says it takes 6 sheets, but it seems to strain at more than 3 sheets. Maybe because the feed is and the regular 8 1/2" wide paper bunches up a little as it feeds. This shredder is smaller than my old shredder, but shreds very fine, so about the same amount of paper can be fed before I have to empty the bin. It needs to be oiled pretty often.
