Description:For GM vehicles equipped with a 315 or 433 MHz Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) system, a "Sensor Re-Learn Procedure" must be performed after tire rotations, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Module replacement or Tire Pressure Sensor replacement. This re-learn procedure can be performed by using special tool EL-50448.Also works on 2014 GM modelsThe tire pressure sensor on models in & after 2012 can be read, only with some specified diagnostic tools. Before tire pressure monitoring system works normally properly, the body control module will record ID information of each position in the tire pressure sensor; and use thefollowing methods to read the tire pressure sensor after replacing a tire or wheel speed sensor. Refer to the instruction as follows: Step 1 - Enter leaning modeSet the gearshift lever to "P" Put the ignition switch to “ON”Enter the interface of tire pressure display by DICDIC shows "Press Set / Ctrl to re-learn"Press “Set /Ctrl”The turn signal is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn beep sound twice to enter the learning modeStep 2 - Read tire pressure sensor informationStart from the front-left wheel,  Make the J-46079 or Diagnostic Tool EL-50448 antenna up against the valve core position & close to the rim of the tire sidewallEl-50448 tire pressure tool starts by the start switchSuccessful to read the tire pressure sensor information when the horn bleeps onceStep 3 - Same method to read other tire pressure informationFollow the instuction above to read tire pressure of the front-right, rear-right, rear-left wheels. Turn signals is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn bleeps twice when the learning is complete.Note 1.Since there is no /off switch , suggest to put the battery out after Use to save battery 2.The item comes without battery inside, all you need is to find a 9 volt battery

Very useful device
The good... Works great and easy to use. The bad... No instructions (4 out of 5 stars). Just do a search on the internet and YouTube to find out how to use this device.FYI... When using the device be sure you touch close to the rim were the valve stem is and the tip is on the tire for this to work as pictured. I have tried putting the tip of the device on the rim close to the valve stem and it would not work. This was used on a 2014 Chevy Cruze

The tool you need
I have a GM car (2016 Chevrolet Cruze LT). When the back right tire went to 27 pounds of pressure the warning light came on and I got a warning to increase pressure in that tire. I did. That is when I discover in the owner's manual, the warning light will stay on and I will get a warning every time I start the car until the system has been reset. REGARDLESS if the pressure has been corrected.I can take it to the dealer and be charged for it, or get the tool. I got this tool and followed the instructions in the owner's manual. It took less than 4 minutes. You need a 9 volt battery to get the tool to work. The tool has one button. Once you start the car's relearn sequence you hold the tool against the rubber of the tire near the valve and press the button on the tool.

works for 2013 GMC Acadia
This relearning tool apparently draws power right at the limit of what a 9v battery can deliver. I started with a fresh 9v and could only get the first 2 wheels done. I tried another fresh 9v and still could not get past the first 2 wheels. (If you don't complete all 4 in one session, the data is rejected and you have to start over.) Finally, I doubled up the batteries in parallel, and that did the trick. The tool seems to work best when the antenna is pointed perpendicular to the sidewall near the base of the valve stem. BTW, for the 2013 GMC Acadia, initiate the process by turning the key to the "on" position (not just "accessories"), then hold down both the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob until the horn beeps twice. Each corner light goes on in sequence to show you which wheel to set.

Works great. Hold it correctly and you’re good to go!
Worked perfectly. Put in a 9v battery, follow your vehicle’s procedure*, and hold it correctly against the tire and it’s super easy and quick. The hardest part of the whole process was finding how to put my vehicle in learn mode. *2015 or newer Chevy Colorado: turn key on but don’t start vehicle, scroll to the tire pressure readout on the console, hold down the “check” button on the steering wheel, and the pickup honks once it’s in learn mode. Start with driver front, then passenger front, then passenger rear, then driver rear. Vehicle honks each time it learns a tire and then twice when you’re all done.

Worked flawlessly
Did exactly what it was supposed to for my 2016 Silverado. Saved a lot of money over buying the real tool and saved the trip to the dealer for them to charge for rotation or relearn the sensor locations for me. A note on the procedure…Put key in and turn ignition to on with engine off. Bring up the tire pressures in the DIC then hold the center check button until the car honks and the DIC will display a message for tire pressure monitor relearn active. Start with driver front and move clockwise around the car for all tires. Point the tool at the tire not the rim right next to the valve and press the button. Hold the tool in place until the car honks then move to next tire until all 4 complete.

SZARK EL-50448 Auto Tire Pressure Monitor
Purchased this item to reset my four TPMS on my 2012 Cadillac SRX Luxury Edit. FWD. The item worked as intended, and I highly recommended. The item is well built, feels sturdy and heavy in your hands. No, it doesn't come with a 9V battery. I purchase the battery at Walgreens, they don't come cheap. I paid almost $10.00 for a pair. Other than that, the item worked perfectly. I was able to reset my tire pressure sensors at ease. This one is supposed to work with all GM vehicles, the green one it supposed to work in other different cars make and models. Thank you.

Great quality tool does job fast and accurate.
Great inexpensive tool. High quality does exactly what OEM endorsed product does at 1/3 the cost. Anyone who rotates their own tires or just hates to have to go to a dealer should have this beauty in you toolbox. Had a tire replaced at Firestone and service tech entered the reprogram mode of TPMS system thinking it was needed to find the wheel again. Was not! But anyway, once it’s done you’re stuck and need to complete reprogram and this tool is required.

Great tool for money. Dont pay for relearn
Purchased to reposition sensors in my 2012 silverado. Tried the lose air method wouldnt work. So i bought this. To get into the tire learn, insert key, turn to run not start. Hit both lock an unlock at once on fob. Then go to front left to start, then right, then rear right, and rear left. The turn signals show the way. You out tool against tire above valve stem and click button car will honk horn. Very easy to do and takes 2mins.
