so this was a good option since it held up to a 200 watt ...
I purchased this light for an interior design project, I am actually working on the outside giving the farm more curb appeal. The client had the typical giant metal halide lights that put off tons of unpleasant light, but lit the property efficiently. All of the led lights I found in this style were very expensive, so this was a good option since it held up to a 200 watt bulb. I also found a 200 watt LED bulb with warm white light that isn't ugly, just looks like a plain bulb. So far we have installed it on one barn. We did move the light box down on the barn to right above the door so the light would hit the ground in front of the doors (the old light was an area light and lit the whole farm for the most part- being around 800 watts). It is a "down" light and not an "area" light- which is good when you want to look up and see the stars! It is also very attractive and fits today's popular "fixer upper" style, and isn't the cheap aluminum made in China, it is made in the USA which is another plus! We are going to purchase more to go on other outbuildings, so light can be around the most used areas of the farm, without the ugly glare of a metal halide light!

Excellent quality light
Excellent quality! I assume it is made in USA, heavy steal not the paper thin junk that most barn style lights advertised have. also the black appears to be a high-quality powder coating or some type of ceramic coating. The underside is bright white and really reflects light efficiently. In addition the company advertised a free LED bulb with the light, it originally did not come in the packing however once I contacted the company ( and they wrote back to me within about 1hour) they politely requested an honest evaluation of the product. Once I posted he wrote me back and shipped the LED bulb to me. Excellent customer service!

I was thrilled when I unpacked this light that it is constructed of a heavy gauge steel with an excellent enamel finish. Both will be tested in the brutal rain and snow blowing in the heavy winds of Cape Cod. The socket is heavy and solid in feel. The product has the kind of quality that American products had in the 40's and 50's. I expect that this light will last as long as the garage that it will be installed on.Helen Webster

Great price and quality!
I honestly looked at different barn lights for months both on Amazon and on the internet, read hundreds of reviews/blogs. Most competitors use thinner gauge metal from overseas. Cocoweb brand uses 20 gauge thinner metal from Tiaiwan with considerably higher prices. ABBA uses 18 gauge metal, powdercoats the paint and Made in the USA! Shipped within 24 hours of purchase. I haven't put these up yet and will update after installing over the garage.

Good quality you will not be disappointed.
Great product that is well built. It assembles easily. Something to consider is to use a metal 4 1/2 inch junction box. I used an exterior PVC box and the securing tab snapped off in a couple of days. So now I hope the metal replacement lasts longer. The fixture was just too heavy for the PVC box.

Looks great on my new garage
Looks great on my new garage. Sturdy construction. The electrician was very impressed in it's construction and ease of mounting. Has weathered 60+MPH gusts, sleet, freezing rain and snow beautifully. A lot of needed illumination for in front of garage.

Great Storefront style light for outdoor
After looking for outdoor lighting at the big box retail stores we found this item. It is very well made, sturdy and has o-rings to enable outdoor use. Using Phillips Hue bulbs and connected to home automation. Dimming function works well. I highly recommend this item.

It is steel. Super strong
Fantastic product. Great construction and size. I was looking for a light that had a wide cast but not a flood. This fit the bill. I paired it with a motion sensor. Only thing the wall plate was a little out of proportion in my opinion, so I had a circular piece of steel cut to better match the size of the light. Would definitely buy again.
