Bought for my son's Xmas as he is waffle mad and likes to cook/bake. I didn't have high expectations to be honest but this is a great wee machine! Fast, east to clean, makes nice waffles. Haven't tried the other plates in it but no reason they wouldn't be as good as they all have the same coating. Let it run a few mins the first time you use it as it does steam/smell a bit, but this is normal according to the booklet and never happens again.

When trying to use this product it must have a fault as it blew fuse box

After getting the batter mix to the correct consistency, my daughter and I made savoury waffles ham and cheese and tomato with basil. Easy to use and clean

GOOD POINTS: From golden delicious toasties, to grilled Steaks and chicken, this is a great little machine. I say little because it's not huge, but is capable of grilling 4 large Burgers or 4 Medium size Chicken Breasts. It is the ideal size to do 2 full sized sliced bread Toasties which it excels at.Allthough the griddle plates dont detach, the fact that it opens a full 180* so both plates are flat, makes It is easy to clean and the non-stick is just that, Non-Stick.BAD POINTS: there's no instructions with it, so it's a bit of guess work as to what temperature setting to cook things on, and for how long.We found that setting Number 5 is spot on for fat link sausages and takes about 10-12 minutes to brown nicely. Chicken breast takes about 15 minutes on the same setting. Steak (depending on thickness and how you like it cooked) takes about 8-10 minutes for MEDIUM with nice griddle lines and a decent crust.The hinge for the upper griddle plate does feel quite flimsy and only time will tell if it stands the test of time.All in all, it does the job nicely at a good price point, I knocked it a star because of the lack of an Instruction leaflet, but that's a minor niggle.

lovely piece of kit use it in a small industrial kitchen stays at the right tempiture easy to clean and its reliable would definatly buy again if i had too.

Good unit. Toasts nicely. Plates easy to remove & clean.The only issue is.... very noisy when warming up!!

loving this little gadget it fits 2 sandwiches on with thick bread made couple toasties now 2 at a time, love how it opens flat and i have cooked sausages on this which saves time having to put the grill or frying pan, collects drips in the drip tray it is small and compact and perfect for cooking for 2, its so easy to clean and i would highly recommend this product every kitchen needs this time saving gadget with no mess
