Laurie Gates by Gibson Mauna 12 Piece Orange Melamine Dinnerware Set

I wasn't going to open this box as I was going to use these plates for my vintage camper next summer.. LUCKY I decided to open. When I opened the box a plate had a big piece missing out of it.. I called amazon as I was disspointed as I like the "look" of the plates. I looked in the box and Couldn't find the piece. I advised amazon of the problem and wanted to order another one, said they would note it and I will let them know if I receive another damaged one. Upon looking more, I am thinking this came like this from the Manufacture. As where is the piece.. I did notice others said they received broken plates.. I did send an email to the manufacture on instagram as a "courtesy" with a picture.. but they were not too concerned.. until I said I was a small business owner and its a quality inspection thing before going out. I will see what my new set is like and packed like.. Just thought I would let you know. The supplier should be packing these better IMOI had a hard time reviewing this.. as I don't know if they are durable? it was broken.. I can say they "look nice".. we'll see how they hold up and I will update as time goes on!

I bought 2 sets. The orange & the blue. I wanted a rustic look for my Shack. Only issue .... they must be washed in the top basket of the dishwasher.

I bought these dishes to stage a fall table and they were perfect. I originally intended to buy the more gold ones but I used sunflowers as a centerpiece and it would’ve been too much yellow. I bought the orange ones and paired them with a woven placemat and green rolled napkins and it looked great. I love the rustic look of the “crackle” and will definitely buy more from this line!
