refillable floss that tastes good
This is a good floss that gets the job done. It's not too harsh on the gums, and the peppermint taste is natural, and it just feels good. It's so far my number 2 floss. It's thick enough where it can get to stuck food, but it's not too thick where you can't even get in between the gums. I'm glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. This is a decent price for a good amount of floss. It lasts longer than my other floss brands.I'm a floss enthusiast, so I have so many organic flosses from so many brands. My number 1 floss brand I recommend is Dr. Tungs, but I don't like the price. It's too high. I think if Dr. Tungs could just have refillable floss, I wouldn't have to pay such a high price for floss. This is better priced because you are getting a refill, and they don't have to make another container for the floss: you just reuse it. How obvious, yet I don't see many brands doing this. That's why this is my number 2 floss right now because they are reusing the container. The container needs a little bit of work, so that's the only con. Some parts came off when I tried to refill it, and I had to put it back on, so no biggy, but they gotta work on that.I also would prefer for them to use non-nano hydhroxyapatite. But yes, don't listen to the negative reviews. This floss is well-priced for the amount they give you. I would like the price to be lower, but well, we're not living in the 90s.I floss my teeth after every meal, and I highly recommend for everyone to take better care of your teeth. Teeth and gums are super important for almost everything: communication, eating, expressing yourself: getting your needs met. Take care of your teeth, and floss at least twice a day. I am a little bit less strict about my Waterpik: I wish I had more time for everything you're supposed to do on a daily basis for your teeth, but with floss, I feel compelled to floss after almost every meal, so I know a lot about floss, and this one is a good contender. I even carry floss with me because it's important to take care of your teeth and gums, so that you reach older age with great teeth.

My Favorite Dental Floss—Yes, That’s a Thing!
I never thought I’d have feelings about dental floss, but here we are. I’m officially obsessed with this Davids expanding dental floss! This isn’t your average waxy, slippery floss that barely grabs anything. This is thicker and textured, so it actually cleans between your teeth. You can feel it gently scrubbing away buildup—and that’s oddly satisfying. The scent is subtle but fresh, and the woven design makes it feel more luxurious and effective than any floss I’ve used before. I also appreciate that it doesn’t shred or snap, even between tight teeth. And the packaging? Chic and compact, perfect for keeping in my travel kit and on the counter without looking like clutter. It sounds silly to say, but this floss has genuinely made me enjoy flossing. If you’ve been trying to build a better habit or just want something that works better and feels good to use, this is 100% worth it.

great product
I really like David's floss. The refillable dispenser is such a smart and eco-friendly idea. The floss itself works great. It slides easily between my teeth without shredding and leaves my mouth feeling clean. I also love that it's infused with nano-hydroxyapatite for added oral care benefits.

Better than all the other refillables
I like this floss well enough, it gives a better clean than most and comes in a refillable package. I like that the flavor isn't intensely minty (or cardamom... come on Dr. Tung's, why?!). Packaging isn't the best, I often find the floss slips out, or when refilling it the center roll gets stuck and the new floss starts to unravel too much and has to be re wound. But I haven't found a refillable floss with better packaging so David's wins my reorders.

Sustainable, effective choice for floss
When I ran out of this floss, I had to temporarily use a hygienist-supplied sample of a Teflon floss tape, and the difference is stark. I will never go back to Teflon floss tape again. This stuff smells good, is adequately waxed to slide easily between tight contacts, and expands well to scrub away plaque. It scrapes away much more plaque than Teflon floss tape does.I love that refill option, too. I despise tossing plastic because it takes hundreds of years to degrade, so the refill option allows me to reuse the plastic dispenser for a long time.

Great floss, less plastic
We are among the horde of disappointed former users of Reach woven floss. This is great in a similar way, and I wholeheartedly appreciate the lack of plastic and the nano-hydroxyapatite. It's nice to be able to buy the floss without a plastic case. Same problems as with the woven floss, it sometimes shreds. But overall a reasonable value and fantastic product.

Floss works great, plus a small victory for the planet
The floss is great. It fits in the narrow spaces and isn't sharp. I like that the spool is replaceable, and I don't have to throw away the case each time. It is a tiny contribution (or subtraction) from landfill waste, but it feels like a small victory.

Spool too large
The plastic spool in the center of this refill floss is too large to be compatible with the David’s floss dispenser. The dispenser can’t close around it. I contacted the company directly, but the replacement dispenser they sent still had the same issue. I ended up removing the plastic piece and mounted the floss directly onto the dispenser, so I hope it doesn’t unravel. For such an expensive product, this was somewhat disappointing and made me question the authenticity of the product.
