Visibility and ball flight is excellent. Best ball for the price.
After spending hundreds of dollars on Titleist Pro V1 and V1X golf balls I did some research regarding ball flight characteristics in which I compared distance, spin rates, ball flight characteristics, etc. Pro V1 balls do add about 5 yards to drives if your club head speed is 115 mph+, they are a great ball in that regard. The down side in my opinion an in my game is that if you cannot control the spin rate by being exceptional in shaping shots (draw or fade), drives get away from you quickly and noticeably. If your face and path are not well under control you will not need to bother looking for your ball because it will be WAY out of bounds. Plus the Titleist products approach $50 per dozen in most golf centers. Of course professionals do control their swing path and face very well so the added distance is definitely worth it for them.I was somewhat skeptical about changing balls but after working very very hard on my face and path control I still had drives and long iron shots getting away and let's face it driving ranges do not fill buckets with Pro Vs, hence practicing with them is impossible. Bridgestone, Callaway and other leading ball manufacturers offer excellent products as well but again the price point can be prohibitive for most amateur golfers. My research indicated that Volvik balls offered a very nice compromise in terms of price and ball quality. The spin rate is nominal and greenside softness is excellent. I decided to play Volvik "Vivid" balls thinking that they would be easier to locate on the course especially in the fall when leaves can make it challenging to find balls that are not in the middle of the fairway. I bought 1 dozen each of the green and red. I was skeptical that they would be visible in flight especially off the tee because of the colors. After several (7) rounds of golf I find these balls very easy to track in flight and exceptionally easy to locate on the course both in the rough and fairway obviously. Volvik balls explode off the tee and are far easier to control spin in comparison to some of the more expensive offerings. I also believe that the matte finish adds to responsiveness of the ball (spin) on pitch and chip shots. They feel as if they remain on the club slightly longer during compression although I have no data to support this other than the feel I notice. The price point on Volvik balls are excellent and today I will be ordering another 2 dozen just to have them in hand. Both the vivid green and red are highly visible, I have no preference between the 2 colors. A playing partner played the vivid jade (bluish) and they were harder to track in flight off the tee than the red or green. In summary, I am a believer and will be playing Volvik vivid balls exclusively in 2020. The price point, quality and playability offer an excellent compromise to my game. And, since my swing speed is slightly over 100 mph off the tee (~102) and in the low 90s with irons. Volvik allows me good control when shaping shots into the green. I apologize for the length of this review but feel it was warranted in a time when many are struggling financially. Those who truly love the game will still find a way to play and knowing that there is a high quality product at a reasonable price is hopefully helpful in making a financially sound decision to keep you on the course.I wish all my fellow golf enthusiasts good health and hope you all stay safe and make sound decisions regarding social distancing while still enjoying the game we love. Respectfully, Rick M.

no blue in the vivid lite pack!
It's odd, I bought a box of these a year ago and the assortment was pink, orange, yellow, blue. I bought it off amazon a couple of days ago, and the assortment is pink, orange, yellow, green (just like in the picture, much to my delight). I'm very pleased, who wants blue balls anyways? Worst idea ever, too many bad jokes, and impossible to see against a clear blue sky, maybe Volvik realized this and swapped out their blue balls for green ones at some point during production. My driver ss is 80-85 and the ball is a good fit for me, low spin off driver, flies straight, feels great, maybe 5 extra yards out of the vivid lite vs. regular vivid & tp5. Feels great off irons too, less so for chipping, ok for putting. Really easy to see and love the matte tech, as I have trouble tracking traditional white balls through the air. At $24 it's a great deal, if you like regular vivid and have a slower swing speed like me it's definitely worth trying out.

Great golf balls, especially if you spend a lot of time in the rough.
First off, I suck at golf and I lose a lot of balls. For my usual rounds, I like to use cheaper colored balls that give me a chance to find it if I put it in the rough or the woods but I don't worry too much. My buddies and I do a little golf trip in the fall and with the leaves, the tall grass more brown, it can be near impossible to find a standard white or yellow or even orange ball.Last year I bought 3 of these to try on our trip, pink, green, and yellow, and they were great. Of the three, yellow are bright but aren't that much better than a regular yellow ball in my opinion. The pink and the green saved me a few strokes and I need all the help I can get!In terms of feel, they get decent distance but feel soft. Again, I suck though so don't listen to me about that.Gonna get more for this year's trip. Can't wait to lose them!

Good ball
I liked the Volvik Vivid. I got the green which is easy to see in flight and oddly easy to find on the ground.Admittedly I did feel like the putting took a bit getting used to. It doesn't jump off the face and I was leaving a lot of putts short initially, and after playing 6 rounds or so I still feel like it isn't as easy to hit longer putts because of that. The putting feel is getting better and I imagine its just me needing to get used to the ball.

great golf ball
Dont let the bright color fool you. This is a great golf ball. First, its very easy to see, visible til it comes to a complete stop without squinting. 2nd, Its a 3 piece ball so if you can hit a ball 250 or farther, you should be playing that type of ball. Distance is as good or better than a variety of other top tier balls ive played. 3rd, they are soft chipping and putting. And finally, when you do shank one, its much easier to find!BTW, I highly recomment the yellow color as it is more visible than the red.

Favorite golf balls
These are my favorite balls. Use them all of the time. Great distance. Just need to ignore those that say golf balls need to be white. The RED and ORANGE golf balls are easy to track in flight and they are easy to find. If you tend to hit into the rough and sometimes woods, these balls are easy to spot. I also like walking up to the balls and know which is mine. However, the BLUE version is awful to see in flight and to find on the ground. I would NOT recommend BLUE.

Buddies Poked Fun At My Bright Balls
Used Volvik Bright Green balls at a league tournament earlier this year. Some of the guys teased me on how bright they were. They poked fun until my score was posted at the end of the tournament (net 68.6). Good enough for 1st place that day! I've been using them ever since. Explosive distance off the tee and plenty soft around the greens. Putts very well too. Easy to spot on the fairway or rough. I especially like the fact I could see the ball on the tee really well. I've been struggling with eyesight here lately. No problem with seeing these balls. Highly recommend the bright green.
