Very bright and so easy to set up
This product is very easy to assemble and brightens up the room on dark nights - very good value for money

Ultra Modern - something a bit different, and a doddle to assemble
The media could not be loaded. I started to write this review in my usual style - to include things like "this light stands 71" tall, and comprises a heavy metal base with a 9" diameter, a pole in four 17" sections, and a tiltable light unit (which is slightly smaller in diameter than the base) and contains 196 LEDs", but then I re-read the listing and realised I'd be repeating information already supplied. This sleek, elegant, and very modern lamp has an absolutely superb listing. It is one of the most comprehensive that I have ever seen, and I don't think there is anything I can add that hasn't been covered already (with excellent pictures and close-ups, etc). It is well worth reading to the very end, as it gives a detailed product description, explanations of the lamp's features - such as the 30 minutes timer, its five levels of (dimmable) brightness, and more. It also gives a long list of specifications which many people will find useful, and mentions some helpful points that purchasers may not consider before buying - such as ceiling height, the embedding of the non replaceable LEDs, and the type of (bright) light emitted. The lamp arrived extremely well packaged in a strong cardboard box measuring just 17½” x 10¼” x 5¼”. This 'gift box' type box has a plastic carrying handle on the top and is printed in plain black - with a diagram of the lamp on the front, and a detailed specifications list, plus a list of the lamp's features (in six languages) on the back. The six parts of the lamp were individually wrapped in polythene, inside preformed polyurethane foam, and the 22V power adapter, with its 6' cable, was in a white card box within a cut-out in the foam. A welcome guide/information leaflet was also enclosed.Although assembly instructions were included in the welcome guide, I didn't read them as it was immediately obvious how to put it together, and was simplicity itself. However, I hadn't realised until afterwards that the section with the operating buttons didn't necessarily have to be at the top, so I wasn't as smart as I thought I was! Unlike most other floor lamps, it's possible to choose the positions of the pole sections because each one has an integrated power cable which connects with the next section when they are screwed together and make contact - the likes of which I have never seen before. Very clever! There is no single cable running from top to bottom inside this lamp which is great, because a single cable makes assembly more difficult, and the cables twist over time.My Edwardian house has high ceilings so, although the lamp is very bright, it's not as bright as it would be in a modern home with smaller rooms, but that suits me just fine. I like its 'mood'. I thought the black finish would look a bit 'heavy' on such a tall slender lamp, so I selected the silver which looks clean and has a nice matt finish. It would be perfect in a home office. I love the light this 30w (max) lamp gives, and it's good to know that it will probably outlast me. The LEDs are predicted to last for 24+ years if the lamp is used for 5 hours every day. But, although it gives a great light and stands solidly on my tiled floor, with its 5 little non-slip rubber feet on the base, it does not really suit my current home. I am hoping to downsize to a modern home, and I cannot decide whether to hang onto it or gift it to my daughter. She loves it, and it would look great in her 'young' home.... but I need the light.PLEASE NOTE - The video does not really show the marked difference between low and high light, as it should.

Nice light but not cheap, and with a few niggles
I took a risk buying this light, not usually spending that kind of money on a standing lamp. It's good though. The light is steady and of daylight colour, not too blue, and not yellow like most bulbs. It's not quite as bright as I was hoping but it still does the job in our home office which can be dark on these late winter days, or when it's raining etc. I'd have preferred a white one so it blends in with my white walls, but it wasn't available. Also, the buttons for changing the brightness, are touch ones, not physical buttons. I'm not super keen on such buttons on devices like these - you cannot really feel for them without looking. There is a blue led that lights the power button when turned off which helps you find it in the dark, but i'm not too keen on cold blue lights. I have to turn the lamp so that the buttons and the blue light are faced away from the room. Overall though, a good buy, just with a couple of niggles that might not bug other buyers.

I’m a lamp addict and this one is superb!
I’m impressed with this lamp - it’s so easy to screw together and gives off great light without blinding you as it lights upwards. I chose the black because I live in an old Victorian house with dark mahogany furniture and it’s tricky introducing modern fittings which don’t jar with my design. I’m pleased to say that it fits in perfectly - in fact it bl nds so well you can hardly see the actual stem.I didn’t need to read the instructions as assembly was pretty much common sense - screw the four poles together - it’s obvious which one you start with as it’s the one where the mains lead is plugged in. Once this is all done, all it takes is a gentle touch on the switch which is integrated into one of the upper poles, and it the brightness is adjusted by the number of taps. The uplighter itself can be directed any way you wish as it pivots 360 degrees. It is pretty tall if you screw all 4 bars together but there’s nothing stopping you from building a smaller lamp, simply by using fewer bars. How good is that?!As you can see from the photos, I can put this lamp in behind my more ambient one and when I don’t need bright light in the evenings I can hardly see it - which is the desired effect! [Ignore the messy cables on the floor - I’ll have them all tidied up now I know it’s staying! 😳]This is a well designed, good quality, functional lamp and I am in no doubt that it’s excellent value for money, and frustration free!!

The best light for study, long reading
Very light, very easy to set up, very stable, eyes do not get tired after a long day using it. My son has been using it over the last few months due to school closure. I also bought another cheaper version from a different brand in China which my son said it hurts his eyes over a long period of use & not stable. The beauty of this is it is height adjustable which I put on the table of 1m high. It is expensive but is far better investment for eyes and looks very smart in the living room. I am glad I had bought this one and would like to buy another but it is not available. I rarely put comment but thought it would benefit those who is looking for a good reading/studing lamp. This one will go with him to university for sure. Seller why don't you make laptop stand?

Brilliant daylight uplighter!
It's really tall and really bright! Really like the super brightness, multiple levels of brightness, neat design, very easy assembly, the tilting head, and the way you can just choose how many of the 4 sections to include for height - and put the buttons at the top or further down. Just what I wanted to light up my work desk area as the nights draw in. My eyes are so happy to have good strong daylight-like light, makes looking at my monitors much less eye-strainy at night! It is a very cool shade, makes all my other lights look very yellow. I'm generally not a fan of things that leave lights on while off, but this is not for a bedroom or living room so the blue light switch is not a problem for me. Delighted with my lamp!

Tolle Tageslichtlampe, sehr zu empfehlen!
Sehr helle Tageslichtlampe, super!
