The higher the lumen figure the brighter .The higher the colour temperature the whiter the light. 3000K is more like your traditional lighting colour - slightly yellow tint. 4000K is more like natural light, 6000K is quite white. Lights are OK, Directions are awful!
After staring at the directions for 20 minutes and trying to decipher them, I finally just made a guess how to rewire a fluorescent fixture to work with these LED bulbs. I guessed right and the wiring is fairly simple, but you'd never know it from the directions. They included a fuse in the box, but the directions didn't even mention it so I didn't know what I was supposed to do with that at all. You better know what you're doing if you buy these bulbs and need to convert a fluorescent fixture, because the directions won't help at all. If you're not sure if you can do it, best to buy the LED ready to plug-in fixtures. Light from the bulbs is OK; maybe even a little less bright than the fluorescents they replaced but these should last longer.

Look for brighter bulbs.
About the same brightness as my older fluorescent tube. Does use less electricity but was hoping for brighter bulbs. It worked in my old fixture without any wiring changes. My old fixture had no starter.

Too bright white for home, but silently works.
Unclear directions. I took off the ends to show one wire leads to the LEDs in the middle. Therefore, the black wire goes to one tombstone, the white wire leads to the other side, and it worked! No noise, no ballast, hospital white. Great customer service, got here in a week.
