Great if you don't want to drill the wall - UPDATED NOV 2020 second one bought and it is different
I bought a Dyson V10 vacuum cleaner last year and love it, but to charge it I've had to plug it in after each use and leave it leaning against the washing machine as I don't want to drill holes in my wall, so it's not been quite as slick as I'd have liked. I saw this stand and thought it looked ideal. It arrives in a brown box and is self assembly. The instructions recommend that two people work together on it but I managed to do it myself unaided. It's a little fiddly, and the instructions are sometimes a little unclear, but I had it assembled in about fifteen minutes. It's easy to move around, thanks to the "handle" on the top, and is reassuringly weighty so I don't worry that it might topple over. The only snag I hit was right at the very end. The instructions advise you to attach your cleaner's wall bracket to the frame using the screws that came with the vacuum. I had mine for my Dyson, but they're long wall screws, and the frame really needs screws with washers and bolts on the back. If you have some handy, great, but if not you might struggle with this very last step. Once the wall charger was attached to the frame though it works a treat, and my Dyson now stands in the corner, constantly topped up, with its tools on the handy shelves on the back of the frame. All in all, it's a well thought out product, but the instructions could be a tiny bit clearer, and just two more nuts and bolts in the pack would have been a huge help at the end.UPDATE 5/11/2020My mother in law has just bought a Dyson v10 and wanted a stand like ours, so I clicked "order again" on the order details and requested another, the same as the previous one.The new model is different in a number of ways. First of all, the old stand was really fiddly to install, but the new one is much more straightforward as it is only made of three parts - the base, and the back is in a lower and an upper section - and this time you don't need to find extra screws from somewhere to attach the wall charger as they are supplied in the kit, as is a small allen key and a spanner, so you don't even need tools. Secondly, the old stand had baskets or shelves to hold all of the tools, but with this one there are four "prongs" of sorts on the lower half of the stand onto which you can slot the different tools. Thirdly, the old one was height adjustable but this one is fixed, although the plate where the wall charger attaches to has two different sets of screw holes, so you could alter the height of the charger by an inch by using the opposite set of screw holes. It's also not quite as tall, and narrower than the old one, and if I was to criticise it feels a bit less sturdy, but still holds the v10 perfectly.

Hoover stand.
Brilliant idea which saves the need to fix the charger to the wall it holds all the accessories I have definitely a good buy.

Good and heavy
Used with Dyson V7 MotorheadA very solid and heavy stand. It is self assembly, quite a lot of self assembly, to assemble it comes with an Allen key and a small spanner however you need a screwdriver and perhaps a magnet. Why a magnet, well there are a number of very similar washers one steel and one plastic but they look very similar.Anyway about half an hour it was assembled, well almost.Although the supplied stand was completed it, for versatility uses the cleaner's own mounting bracket and says to use the bolts supplied with the cleaner's bracket but there were none supplied. In normal times it would have been possible to just pop out and get a couple of nuts & bolts fortunately I found a couple of suitable ones in my box of bits.Once everything was bolted together the stand adjusts for height so that various cleaners will fit.In addition to the cleaner there is a basket and three shelves for accessories I did not find these much use as they look entended to hold cleaning heads and all the accessories I have are pipes etc.Still very useful if you don't want to drill a wall.

Dyson Stand
The item is stable enough I think and the metal is strong enough for the job. The paintwork will scratch easily. My V10 does not fit like the picture and ends up about 4 inches off the ground. This means that it is not so stable as it could be. However, more importantly the Dyson bracket is weak plastic and unclips by moving the lower end of the Dyson towards you. I fear that should the lower part of the vacuum cleaner be forced towards the bracket in error it would crack the Dyson bracket and this is not so clever. I was supplied one extra small screw and an extra large nut and bolt. I am not sure why and they were not on the parts list. Also, not on the parts list was a 3M sticky pad without instructions. I thought this was the normal type of rectangle sticky pad and did not check it properly until I had it left over at the end. It was, in fact, 4 oblong see through sticky pads which I guessed went behind the Dyson bracket as a damping effect as the plastic to metal fixing with metal nuts and bolts could lead to cracking. I tell you this so that you do not have to undo the fixing for the Dyson bracket to insert the pads as I did. Overall, I think it is OK but nothing special and the price of £35 was as much as I would pay for it.

Solid and sturdy, V11 absolute
Not wanting to drill into a wall, this seemed ideal especially as Dyson don't offer a similar free-standing option. Some simple improvements would get 5* in every category but as others have said, fails at the last hurdle but I've a work-around not seen in other reviews. The strip of clear bags have the tools, nuts and bolts... Better if each bag was either numbered as per instructions or described with writing on each section. Also, right at the end you're told to attach the Dyson wall-mount you got in your hoover box to the stand.... But they're wood screws with rawl-plugs, useless unless you put a very chunky baton on the back. My fix was to use the bottom tray's nuts and bolts to affix the mount and lose a tray, which was a bacon saver.Very sturdy, bottom plate is very heavy but looks the part instantly.Add a cheap Philips screwdriver and some more nuts/bolts it's a prefect provision, grey actually works as it's the same as the propriertory wall holder. Also, the wire tidy clips need grab the narrower gauge tubes at the top, they slide down - my workaround was the wrap clear Gorilla tape to bulk it out.Pictures attached.(irony, polystyrene packaging is very crumbly and messy on the carpet... If only I had a powerful vacuum nearby!)
