Sturdy, metal, strong cord. Works well.

I can't sleep or work with this heater since the fan turns itself on and off based on the heat setting, sometimes once or twice every minute. This is super distracting and annoying and I wish I'd returned it before the return window.

Heater keeps shutting itself off then back on for no good reason. Have tried all settings. Happens many times a minute sometimes. If I have the heater on, I want it to run, unless there really is a temperature problem.

Mine works fine, and I am able to set the temperature as well as the amount of watts. This is important if you use a portable generator, and/or want to save some money on the electric bill.
