Good quality.
The media could not be loaded. This is a good quality swimming pool vacuum hose with a 1.5 in diameter fittings. I needed to hose to fit my new vacuum head which had a 1.5 in end. The existing hose we had was 1.25 in. I think the quality of this hose is good the end swivels so it doesn't get tangled up and it is offered at a fair price point.

works good
I needed a discharge hose for my pool filter this worked great. I'm unsure of durability, so I rated it with 4 stars.

was not a good value
hose is not 25', about 5' feet short and the slip end leaks allowing air to suck in to filter. NOT a good value.

This hose floats and in cool/cold weather does nothing but recoil
I liked the price & I liked that it was one continuous hose. The ends are slightly larger than anything I have attempted to attach them to (inline filter basket, pool sweeper). In warmer weather the hose stops recoiling so if it's always warm where you are it will likely work just fine with recoiling. It has not cracked or faded and it's been in use for 4 months now in Phoenix, AZ. Good Luck and Stay Well.--------------------------------------Update on 5/28/2023--------------------------------------I bought this same hose 2 years ago and received it initially in winter. The colder the water got the less flexible the hose was. Now, in the 2nd summer, once the water warms above 70° F the hose continuously loops itself to the point where the automatic vacuum cannot pull the hose. This "feature" keeps the vacuum from reaching either end of the pool and therefore the pool doesn't get properly cleaned. The 2nd biggest issue I learned about immediately was that the ends of the hose are slightly larger than they are supposed to be so I had to expand the expand the male ends of the auto-vaccum and the manual vacuum to get the hose to hold on as it should. The GOOD news is that the hose, in itself, doesn't leak and is quite sturdy, maybe too sturdy in cold water. I would NOT recommend this hose now, knowing what I know. Best Wishes, Mark

I didn’t know the hose had the suction power
Well if I knew the hose had the suction power I wouldn’t have gone through the trouble hooking it up to the skimmer. I would let the leaves and sand blow out of the pool hanging the other end of the outside the pool. No really it does the trick if you have a good sand pump that has a good suction.
