Surprising good set at a great price!
I got these on a whim because they have several good reviews. Though I usually use paints several times the cost of these, they surprised me in how decent they are. They seem to be on par quality wise with my Cotman sets but these activates more quickly and seem to be more pigmented, and they blend nicely. Here is a little two color study I quickly put down and a lighter, flower study to give and idea of how they work. The paper it comes with is good and the brushes are decent with a nice snap. The box is a really nice quality, the pans are extra large like Kuretake, and it has a large removable palette for mixing. All in all a fun mid-range set.

Honestly, great!
This paint set showed up on my Amazon recommendations and I bought it on a whim. I had never even heard of Hannah MP. While I wasn’t expecting professional quality, certainly not like Sennelier or Schmincke or anything, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this set for the price! I would say the quality is somewhere in the range of Paul Rubens and Winsor & Newton Cotman pans. While there is no pigment information, there is a lightfastness rating. It seems like most of the colors are decently lightfast. The box is very nice. It looks like it’s made of good quality bamboo, and I could think of a million ways to use it after I finish the paints. The paints re-wet instantly and are very vibrant. The purple colors you get are especially nice, and the Van Dyke Brown is a perfect color to tone things down with, and still have warm shadows. Plus, you get a ton of paint for the money, the pans are much bigger than I expected. The brushes also feel pretty nice for the price. They hold a point nicely. I’ve only done some practice work and two paintings with the set so we will see how they hold up.Overall, I am impressed with this set and very happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone at any skill level.

Great buy and quality
Great colors and intensity, the size of the pans are 3 times the normal. Love the wooden case and big mixing space. This is a great set for anyone using watercolors.

Vibrant and excellent quality
I have been trying many sets of water color paints and I can’t get enough of this collaboration. The colors are vibrant and blend so well. This was definitely worth the price! A seascape done with this pallet and some white gouche.

Vibrant, quantity, blending...it's all great!
Very pleased with these watercolors. The case is awesome but most importantly is the quality of the watercolors. Colors are very vibrant...I'm amazed how much I can paint with one little speck of color on my pallet!! I can't believe I have painted so many greeting cards over the past 2 years with my old set of watercolors and can't wait to start doing new ones! Also, the paint brushes are great and I can't wait to try the paper. If the quality of the paper matches the watercolors and brushes, it is going to be great!

A real joy to use!
What a difference good paint makes! These paints are so vibrant, blend out beautifully and they react so well with water- all things my cheap paints did not do which left me frustrated. I am still very much a beginner, but I now know why people buy better paints. I can’t speak to professional vs student quality, but I can say the Altenew and Arteza can’t tough what these paints can do. I also like that the namesOf the paint are more industry standard so I can follow tutorials better. I highly recommend these to any newcomer to watercolor!

Nice assortment of useable colors
I got this set on a flash sale, and initially wasn’t impressed at all. I will say I’ve only swatched them, and there are things I like, and things that I’m simply not impressed with.I use primarily kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor. I have all the sets and I find them an amazing value, I like the large pans and love the range of colors. I primarily do pen and ink, marker and watercolor wash. The first photo has a swatch of all 24 pans on the bottom and a few comparison swatches at the top. As a palette I think it’s quite useful for a general assortment. I can do landscape, floral, abstract and contemporary with this palette. It has a very nice range of natural tones with the exception of the greens. I’m not a fan of the sap or hookers green only because they are not true to the industry standard name. The sap is almost neon and the hookers is runs a tad blue, almost teal. I also think the cadmium red is very orange. I might find this frustrating if it were my only palette, and for the price, even on sale, I think it’s not the best choice. However, the paint performs very nicely, is pigmented, and the palette is great for blending. I’m finding it really fun to get rich natural shades, which isn’t my usual style. The second photo is mostly done in this palette, with the exception of the light turquoise.I really love the case, which has a removable mixing palette, a space to hold travel brushes (I have not tried the brushes included as I have my established favorites and prefer to donate them in new condition) and the paper included seems to be of good quality for practice although it’s not labeled for fiber content or press. My guess is cold press. I will keep it primarily for the case as I can mix my Kuretake colors to create a custom palette for travel and it’s nice to have a washable mixing tray as well as ample space for essentials. I wouldn’t order it again and certainly not full price but it’s fun to try something different and I think I’ll get a lot of use out of the case and a few of the colors. If you’re on the fence, skip it and get the Kuretake 48 color set for almost $10 less. You’ll get tones for portraits and pastels and delicious golds as well as an amazing array of blues.
