I got this steering wheel cover because it was made of silicone and I am hoping it lasts longer than the plastic, leather and faux-leather ones that tend to break down and tear too quickly. It should, because silicone can take more heat. In the summer, the car gets really hot.Its turning out to be really good. The non-slip grip is excellent! It doesn't even matter where you grab it, the grip is equally good on the bumps as well as the horizontal ribs. Its comfortable, soft but firm, and operating the wheel feels secure.I was hoping it would be easy to put on, but its almost as hard to put on as the rest of them - it takes a bit of pulling and tugging by two people. But once on, it stays put. Its worth it - the grip is terrific and it massages my hands as I drive and relaxes them. Once my husband tried it, he loves it and doesn't ever want to use anything else!
