just like my original head doesn't hurt to have a spare

It’s really handy to have a spare print head on hand in case something goes wrong. This changes out in about 3 minutes not including leveling to the build plate.

so much better than oem. prints like butter, fan can get pretty loud but thats not why I got these. I got it for reliability. Currently paired with an Ender 3 pro/ BTT SKR mini E3 v1.2/ linear rails/ dual Z mod. prints can definitely compare to A1 or any other sling bed. the direct drive is a must esp when printing TPU or any flexible filaments. prints PLA/PC/TPU 95A and 85A anything really that doesnt require an enclosure. I know there's others out there but tbo I didnt want to mess with large mods to get this up and running. This is literally an AIO hotend with a crazy powerful direct drive extruder. I might put this in my Franken Vinci next

Works great on my Ender 3 S1 Plus. Easy to install and calibrate.

I bought this to replace the extruder in my E3V2 and thought it will be a plug and play but turns out it took some effort. I received the first one and unfortunately it didn't last three prints before there was a big block of material seized and melted some of the wires. I was disappointed and requested a new one The second one I tried was almost the same and found two of the issues. First, It seems the thermistor cable is way too thin and anything, especially a small chunk of material, can break it or short it. Secondly, one of the mounting screws holding the heater element got very loose during printing and it started showing signs of the first issue happening (material buildup due to heat inconsistency). I was able to catch it in time and fix and clean it. Right now it is working very well and has no issues as I have done all the calibration needed (don't forget to change your E-steps, retract length, and new pid calibration) That being said I recommend: 1. Have spare thermistors. There are some in Amazon that can withstand a little more bending. This is important if you clean your nozzle and hit it with the brush or if a buildup happens to seize around that area (very common) 2. Prior to any use, heat up the nozzle and make sure everything is tighten and that the heater element does not come loose. You can try to wiggle it and see if it comes loose. 3. If you happen to have PTFE with brush, coat the nozzle and important surfaces with it so in the case the filament starts to attach at least it will be easy to clean I'm still a little disappointed that some of the issues come from manufacturer assembly, something that has never happen to me with other printer parts but if you get past it I believe you are going to be pleased with its performance, speed, and quality (especially coming from a Bowden extruder). Take your time, recheck not once not twice but maybe 3 or more times and have some spares as you might need it sooner rather than later
