Beautiful desk. Sturdy, worth the money. Got it on sale.I almost didn't purchase because some of the reviews made it seem impossible to put together, but I would say the folks who wrote those reviews were being impatient. It was easy to put together BUT, take your time while trying to figure out how the drawer slides come out and how they need to be facing when the piece is assembled. The diagram shows the person pushing down to release the inner part of the three part drawer slide metal pieces, when in fact you need to push up to release the inner sliding piece from drawer slide assembly. Look at the pieces closely and be careful when trying to release them. Then you'll need to slide the inner part of the two part piece to the correct position to be able put the second screw in.It did take me about two hours, but for the nice wood, sturdy and stylish piece that it is, it was worth the time and money. Just make sure you are relaxed when setting it up.Oh and the wheels are nice. Some reviews said they weren't good but they work just fine for me.Lots of room now for files, storage and books.

The item arrived on time. It was fairly easy to assemble, I did it by myself. I had never assembled files drawers before so that was a bit of a challenge. The finished cabinet is beautiful and exactly as pictured. As stated in some of the other reviews, the wheels are not as good quality as hoped. But there are 6 wheels so it should roll okay. I would definitely buy again.

Unfortunately it came damaged and missing parts. Tried to work with the seller but a month later it is still not resolved. It’s a pretty piece so I’m bummed that there were issues.

I put this together by myself. Took me almost 2 hours. I will list pros and cons. Cons: Everything was labeled ok but instructions could use some words for details and you need a magnifying glass to read some of the pictures. When I was rolling it, it wasn't the sturdiest but I don't know how to tighten it anymore without the screws going through to the other side. The stickers that cover up the hardware don't stick very well (see pics). The wheels are poorly made (see pics), they fall apart when trying to roll. One of the tracks on one of the drawers isn't very smooth worried how long that will last. some of the boards you could tell had dents in the particle board and they still painted over them and packed them up. One chip in one of the corners.Pros: It looks just like the picture. Wood is pretty sturdy (each piece is but yes its a tad wobbly when rolling it). It came with the tools necessary to put it together (no need to have your own).Overall, its a nice looking cabinet for the money. Use the hand tools that come with it to put together not power tools. I may purchase better quality wheels and will try not to roll it so much.

My husband’s office needed an upgrade to his old file cabinets. This piece matched our decor perfectly. It was easy to put together, seems very sturdy, and has a lot of space for storage. I was able to build it myself, didn’t take much more than an hour. I did change out the hardware on the drawers to match the other furniture in the room, but overall I am very happy with the purchase.

We built the unit and added our files to the file drawers. Unfortunately, the drawers do not stay shut once we added the files. They slowly open n their own.
