This camera did work when my son installed it, however I discovered I have a leaking seal and it shorted it out. I guess that's a common issue with my vehicle but thankfully my warranty will fix the seal.

This camera looks nice and it came well packaged in bubble wrap, and also had a lens protector. The pig tail cable looked a little different than the original since it's a multi-wire cord, and the original camera had multiple wires wrapped in a sheath. My camera had been going out intermittently for a couple of years in extreme weather. Mostly on the very cold winter days, but occasionally in the summer as well. The old camera was working when I replaced it today, it's summertime, and I had no issues at all. It's a perfect replacement and it snapped right in securely. The cable was long enough as well. I tested it just for a minute this evening, and the display was dimmed. I'll check it tomorrow in full daylight and update the review if I see any issues, but the picture seemed clear so I don't expect anything. I feel pretty lucky this was offered, since it's exactly what I've needed for quite a while LOL, thank you so much for the nice product.
