Simple, inexpensive, and works great.
This review is for the 4-port USB 2.0 sharing switch. There are other listings of varying price for this same device, though some may have branding added. I purchased one of the others back in November, using it at work for sharing a USB headset to a desktop PC (for Teams and watching training videos), and SIP desk phone (for phone calls), and a smartphone (for podcasts, music, etc). It works great for that purpose, making switching between the three inputs very quick and easy. The reason for purchasing this one is to share a mouse, keyboard, and USB sound card (for my headphones) to two computers at home. So far everything is working great. I was worried that the USB sound card might have issues, but it's doing well.I really like this thing because it uses physical switches to literally change the connection. When you press a button, there is no delay caused by the switch. Very simple and no complicated electronics. I'd say that in the event it breaks, this thing could probably be repaired by someone familiar with a soldering iron. The metal enclosure is not bad at all, the buttons feel solid and are satisfying to press, and the USB ports are all good.My only complaint, and it's a very minor one, is that when a button is pressed, there's an obvious hollow echo from inside. Fortunately, this has no impact on the performance of the switch.

Great time saver
Sure beats digging around in the cable pile to find the right one.
