Lypsyl in a the roll up stick can be quite solid, fine for keeping lips in good condition, but not so great if there are already sore. This product is much softer. A combination of Aloe vera, shea butter, vitamin E and an unnamed SPF15 agent?. It states Manadarin on the packaging and there is a slight aroma of orange, but no taste. The flavour is not listed specifically as an ingredient.Don't really need a mirror to apply lip salve, but its quite handy for checking eye make up etc. The product is easy to use apply with a finger or maybe a cotton bud to keep it clean. In recent hot weather it did not melt and leak. Was useful to put on dry skin around the nose after a cold or hay fever. A second pot would be good for that some how.The blue/orange is distinctive- easy to find the product in your bag. Has a batch number but no expiry date on the pot.

This is a cute little compact which includes lip balm and a small mirror. It's easy to pop into your bag or pocket. The lip balm has a light, pleasant taste to it, and provides a good amount of comfort and relief to dry lips. The moisturizing effect lasts for a couple of hours before needing reapplication.It is quite expensive for a lip balm though which is presumably due to the included mirror, and as lip balm application doesn't actually require a mirror, I'm not sure how useful that addition is. Many people will already have either an eyeshadow compact with mirror, or a separate handbag mirror, and of course with this mirror it loses its usefulness after you've finished the lip balm, and will presumably end up in the bin.

If I could give the LYPSYL Mirror Compact Zingy Mandarin 10 stars I would as I love this little compact of moistening zingy lip balm. The actual compact looks good and with the bright colours as well as the dark navy base makes it a compact I would be happy showing it off to friends and family. The compact is packed tight with balm and I applied using a clean index finger, the balm went on smoothly and softly really providing the perfect base for my lips and within a few applications my lips felt soft and silky smooth with no dryness whatsoever.LYPSYL Mirror Compact is beautiful to use product and with the added flavours makes it a first class product which works.Happy to recommend.

I am a big fan of the LYPSYL brand of lipbalm, it has always been around and offers great protection for the lips. This is a nice idea, although I would usually use the stick rather than a lipbalm that you apply with a finger (especially when out and about). This product leaves my lips feeling soft and moisturised, without any residue or stickiness, it also has a fresh citrus fragrance and SPF 15 protection which is very important. I am bothered by the packaging that will go to landfill after use, as the mirror is not really required.

The flavouring is not tremendous, but it is acceptable. The compact mirror I find useful. The salve is very effective.Whilst I will certainly use this product, there are two things that will put me off buying it. Firstly there is no indication of how much balm you are buying. Lipsyl have previously reduced the contents of their stick balms, so I can see that also happening with these compacts. Secondly it is a much more expensive way of buying balm. If the compact is re-used it will be with different brand of product, so I think a rethink is needed.
