Bought this a while back only just had the chance to use it, had our first snow and used the grit, it’s now been 5 days since i spread it in my path, and after snow and continued days of frost, the path remains safe to walk on, I can recommend this and it works perfectly.

I bought this when a cold Winter was forecast. As that hasn't come to pass, I haven't actually used the salt, but it came quickly, was well packaged (tough plastic bag, inside a tough cardboard box) and was a good price.

Not branded as Peacock salt and only 21kg . Plain bag, no markings whatsoever, only a delivery label.Agreed on a partial refund from seller.

Long lasting and very effective at keeping driveways and paths clear of snow and ice. As an added benefit it seems to do a good job keeping mos at bay on paths too.

Brush into paving gaps, leave for a couple of days and water in if no rain. Weeds dead. More environmentally sound and economic than other chemical treatments. 1.5 bags = 60 square metres block paving.

Bag is insufficient, lost a lot in the box, which itself wasn't sturdy. Don't recommend for this reason
