We bought this brush for our ten month old daughter. The titles a little misleading because it does say brush SET but it is ONLY a single brush. That being said, it's a great little first brush. It's extremely well made and has very soft thick bristles for catching all those little super fine baby hair's and taming them gently!The wooden handle is not too heavy and very sturdy, a nice quality wood. The shape of the paddle for nicely into an adult hand or a baby/toddler hand as well! My daughter enjoys holding this lightweight brush and playing with the soft bristles and I don't have to worry it'll scratch her or hurt her like most other brushes. I've not noticed bristle shedding like other users so perhaps the makers have upgraded the quality? Either way, with a very soft natural goat bristle, you'd expect some fallout of bristles so I won't be shocked if it happens. all in all this is an amazing little brush and well worth it's cost!

First I want to say, I see reviews of people saying their brush is missing one bristle and the soft brush is shedding. If you read the description before purchasing you’ll learn that the brush is NOT missing a bristle and that 1 hole that is there is how the brush is made.With this brush being made with real goat hair, it will have some shedding with first use like also says in description and packaging. After a few uses it does stop shedding.Doing my baby hair has been so fun and easy with both brushes. Her hair does not get caught between the bristles and it brushes/detangles her hair perfectly. The soft brush is indeed sooo soft it’s perfect! I don’t have to worry about harsh brush around my baby’s edges/ temple

My baby girl was starting to get dandruff and I realized that it was the beginning of cradle cap.she was born with really long hair, and at 11 weeks it’s down passed her ears right nowI wanted to find products That came with silicone scrubbers and that also had a soft brush.The bristles on this or amazing it’s so soft that when I brush away the hair by her face she doesn’t mind at all. Also, the silicone scrubbing pad was perfect to Treat her cradle cap I use it every time she takes a bath. She loves it and I love it.

I really like this brush set and admire the fact that part of the proceeds go to the Make A Wish foundation. I received the burns and really like how soft the bristles are on the goat hair brush. We haven't gotten to the other brush yet but it is because my toddler's hair isn't at that stage yet. The wooden handles are also very nice. My little one loves holding the brush and attempts to brush anyone's hair. The only reason I bumped this to 4 stars was the fact the bristles on my brush shed a little. It is still worth the buy, though.

Great brush but I ordered this expecting 2 brushes. But only got the one soft hair brush...... it said set. I definitely did not receive 2.*EDIT*After posting this review and receiving my order I found out that I had ordered it the day before they edited their posting to include 2 types of brushes and just not one. The company reached out to me as soon as I posted it and told me what had happened. and even mailed me 2 new brushes (their newest updated post) and I love them! They last! And the wood is so smooth you don’t have to worry about splinters or snags. I’ve told all my friends about this is and the ones that have bought them love it!!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this, as I had no idea what goat hair might feel like in a brush. I was very pleasantly surprised to feel how very soft the bristles were, but then I worried it wouldn't function well as a brush. Turns out it works perfectly! My little man was born with a full head of unruly hair and this brush is perfect at taming it. I was amused when I realized that it is soft enough to put him to sleep if I brush his hair when he's laying down. I haven't used the nubby brush yet, so I can't attest to it's effectiveness. The bristle brush did shed a little out of the box but nothing that couldn't be easily shaken off and it has since stopped. The box they are packaged in is cute enough to gift in with just a ribbon. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and will probably gift a set to my sister for her baby on the way.

I’m so pleased with this brush set that I purchased for my baby boy. I gravitate towards buying natural, classic, heirloom-looking pieces whenever possible, as opposed to the super colorful, plastic versions that are more popular — and this set meets my expectations. The soft bristle brush is actually way softer than it looks and is perfect for a newborn. I think the wider bristle brush will be perfect for the toddler years. This would make a fantastic gift for a baby shower because it comes packaged nicely in a box.

I have been looking for a high quality, comfortable hair brush for my one year old granddaughter and I found it with this set by Royal Infant. The goat bristles make all the difference, leaving her hair (she has a full head of hair!) soft and shiny. She is also enjoying the head massage that comes along with using the second brush. This is the first time she has sit still while having her hair brushed! Very high quality product, well made and donation to charity with each purchase...I couldn't be happier. I have ordered a second set for my daughter and will make this my first Go To product for all future baby gifts!
