High quality and attractive
We have a 15 foot diameter cantilevered umbrella that came with a cheap cover that only lasted two summers. We've owned a Duck cover for a smaller 9 foot patio umbrella for several years and it has provided us with good service for several summers. The Duck 101 cover is well engineered and constructed. It has a top loop for installation that we use for lifting with an extendable pole I mounted a hook on just for this umbrella cover. Once installed and zipped on our cantilevered umbrella, there is allot of surplus fabric that flutters in stiff winds. We always install a couple small bungee cords around the outside where there's extra fabric to keep it from fluttering and whipping itself to threads. The quality of this cover should give us years of good service. We only use it during 4 summer months. Our umbrellas are stored indoors during late fall, winter and early spring storms.

Excellent quality!
Very impressed with the quality of the cover! I think it will definitely offer the protection I’m looking for! The one item that falls short is the strength of the 2 thin collets used to join the 3 sections of the lift pole. One collet splitout on me the first time I lifted the cover. The pole sections themselves are fine, they just need heavy weight pvc connectors like you would get in the plumbing section of Lowe’s or a Home Depot. For the folks who said the pole was too short, I’m 5’10” and installed it flat footed. The secret is you don’t seat the end of the pole all the way at top of cover when you lift it. You place the end of pole right behind the end of the zipper near the top and lift it up and guide both sides of the cover over either side of the umbrella. Pretty easy really. I would give 5 stars but for the thin pole connectors. Matter of fact, I’m gonna give them 5 stars anyway for the quality of the cover. I’ll give them a pass on the pole connectors.

Nice Product, Challenging to Deploy
I purchased two of these for my rectangular cantilever umbrellas. I really like the thick material and ruggedness of these covers. Unfortunately, they don’t make them in colors to match your umbrellas. I wanted blue, but they don’t offer that. Oh well. The cover comes with a 3-piece PVC pipe “deployment tool.” You have to put the pipes together and use them as an extension of your arms so that you can lift the cover up and over a 96” umbrella. For those who don’t understand, you need to lift it over 8 1/2 feet to get it up and over the umbrella. The PVC couplings they provided BROKE on my first attempt. They just aren’t strong enough. So, you either have to use a ladder with some sort of pole or broom handle OR, use some sort of telescoping pole like a painters pole, a tree trimming pole or even one of those used with a circular brush to remove spider webs. I use the telescoping brush which works like a charm and, because of the brush, it won’t damage the cover over time. Apart from the cheesy PVC pipes, this product is pretty good. I cannot give it a 5-Star rating, but it’s higher than a 4-Star. So, I give it a solid 4.5 rating even if I couldn’t get it in the color I wanted.

Incredible Quality!
Incredible quality and well worth the extra money over the others. If you have an umbrella that you want to keep, then this is the cover. Just the sheer weight and the way it is made is head and shoulders above the rest. For the $15 buck difference... Go with this cover!

Did a very good job keeping the umbrella dry and clean every year
Bought this in 2020, and this year it ripped so looking to get a replacement. Yes there is fading but can be expected with material. This thing lasted 5 years of Oregon winter rains and It rains in Oregon. Great price and fits the large umbrella perfect. wont hesitate to buy this one this year 2025 and a duck cover table cover as well. You wont be disappointed. Thanks Duck covers !!!!

Great Product
This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. The product is exactly as described, and its usefulness cannot be overstated. I've found it to be incredibly practical and efficient in meeting my needs. The attention to detail is impressive, and the performance is on par with more expensive alternatives. If you're looking for something reliable, well-made, and at a fair price point, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Color fades fast, heavy material, doesn't resist water, and rips after a small amount of time.
I have had to replace this cover a few times (about every 2 years because it rips out at the top). First, they fade in about 1 month of being in the sun and look bad. They won't be this nice brown for very long. Second, they are heavy and hard to deal with. Third, they tear, rip, and don't last. I've replaced several over and over again. Fourth, it doesn't completely keep the water out. Check out the iBirdie brand or similar ones. This is a new brand I ran across and tried for my umbrella. It is black and 600D. It completely keeps the water out. I can tell, because of the puddles on top that never soak in. I've had a few of these for a couple of years, and the water still stays on top, and no rips or tears, and somehow the black never fades. I don't get that, because black is a darker color and more likely to fade, but they don't fade. So I just tossed all of my Duck covers in the trash, and I'm not going with the iBirdie black covers which are much lighter and easier to deal with?

As other reviewers have already stated, the built in rod is a joke. However, I am still giving this 5 stars. I threw away the rod and simply use a sturdy broom stick when I need to put it up or remove it. I only put this on before the winter and take it off in the spring. The real value here is the quality material and durability of the cover. Just put it through a rough winter and it's as good as new. I only wish they had covers that fit my other patio furniture. My covers by other brands aren't doing so well.

Duck products are worth the extra dollars spent. The quality of material means no tears, and longer lasting against the elements of weather.

Nice looking cover manufactures with good quality materials. It has gone through several heavy storms so far since I bought it and has surpassed my expectations and kept my umbrella dry. The only thing that I may rattle about is that at first it took me a couple of tries to install it and remove it from my umbrella, but now I have mastered the move and I can install it and remove it in a snap. Good buy

This umbrella cover is very well made, but the design has a few quirks. First off, the zipper is too far down from the top of the cover. You have to be able to lift the cover enough to clear the zipper opening over the umbrella and the stand. The cover is very long. It hangs down to the ground. We made a couple of modifications, which made the cover suit our purpose. I really wasn’t all that concerned about the cheap plastic installation pole, which is too short and flimsy to lift the cover, because of the weight and the height. I’ve always used a painting extension pole, which gives a much higher reach and is more stable. I’m keeping it because, It’s better made than most of the covers we looked at. Also, our other Duck Cover products have stood the test of time.
