Perfect for connecting a professional video camera
Using to connect a cine cam via hdmi cable so to send image over zoom/meets call for production abroad. Works very well even with usb to usb c addapter.

Cheap and cheerful
I've used this for a variety of things and it's great, just turns an HDMI feed into a USB-C one every time, awesome

Leap of faith rewarded - use MacOS and iPad displays for consoles
The media could not be loaded. I want to use my MacOS displays for my consoles - not streaming or recording - just for times I don’t have a TV to use. the only apparent option is an Elgato device but they are expensive. Reviews indicated this device would work and I assumed fake reviews.. I was wrong.A little tinkering with OBS studio to get the audio working (set output capture from usb to mic, set mic to monitor + output and I can play my switch / ps4 / Xbox through my iMac / MacBook Pro with no noticeable lag. Lose the expensive HD60 (s) and 60+ - this is all you need. Video included - short as can’t play and hold a phone.UPDATE : Just to confirm this works with my iPad Pro (IOS17) using a piece of software called VidZik and also on my iMac 27" (Intel 2017) using OBS Studio.Essentiall I can now use all my Apple devices as a screen for anything with a HDMI output.

Well made and works as advertised
This capture card (card?) is used with my mirrorless Sony (An A7R3, so a few generations old now) for the odd time when I do live events and I need good quality with background blur done naturally. For this purpose, it's pretty good. There is still a very slight delay despite it being USB C, though in the manual it also suggests you need a fast computer to help minimise - I'm using an M1 MacBook Pro Max, so it's no slouch. There is less lag than with my last capture card though. The delay is about half a second, but still noticeable (only to the person recording). It might not sound like much, but in practice it does mean you need audio monitors and to mic up from your camera so that everything runs OK sound-wise - lips in sync and no echos. My camera limits me to HD even though it's 4K capable, it just can't output 4K over HDMI, so I can't really push the card. That said I'd never require 4K for streaming anyway, HD is plenty for current requirements. With USB C I was hoping to remove much of the lag - it's better but still noticeable, but that may not matter in your use case.

Low Latency High Quality
Using this with my GoPro for a handcam for streaming, using 1080p60fps, works an absolute charm. No delay needed in OBS. Quality looks identical to that of an Elgato HD60, but with zero latency.

Lags a little on fast games
Works well, has sound, but on the fast games like Tony Hawk skateboarding you can feel the lag. It is suppose to be 60 hz, but still the experience playing on the Nintendo screen vs capture card+laptop is much better.

Amazing value for the price
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to share my nintendo switch screen with my friend from discord. All you need to do is set up the hdmi and USB cables, the rest is easy too.The resolution of 1920 × 1080 and 60 fps work perfect for me after setting it from the OBS settings. In order to enable the audio: from windows search > change system sounds > recording > USB 3.0 capture > listen > turn on listen to this device > applyThen you can go fullscreen by right clicking and simply selecting the fullscreen option. And to share screen with audio from discord just download OBS virtual camera and start it from OBS.Overall, it is totally worth the price. If you are not a streamer and just want to chill just like me, you will love this product.

Look no further
This is a great product. I've heard horror stories from other streamers of capture cards that aren't high enough quality to deal with next gen console feed, or the monster of cords and adaptors involved to make their stream work. This is none of those things. One HDMI cable in, one HDMI cable out. I put in a 4k HDMI splitter before the capture card so I could see the game on my big screen. Zero issues. Superb video and audio quality, and it runs frame for frame. No lag in sight. Simple, easy, and a fair price. Can't recommend this product enough.

Works great
Worked in fedora Linux with no real effort. Was able to access output from a Canon m100 easily using OBS studio. While I didn't need tgem, there are simple instructions included, detailing the use with OBS Studio, a freeware audio video editor/ capture / streaming app available for all computers
