Perfect for canning
These mason jars are exactly as described. They are durable glass jars, hold 16 oz of food or liquid, are easy to clean and sanitize, and do exactly what I want them to do: preserve my pickles, jams and other foods. These are also very good for use in craft projects as well as using for gift giving (of homemade dessert or soup mixes).

They are mason jars.
They work for simple things but the seal is easily affected by sulfur so no eggs unless you want the lids to react poorly.

It meets the criteria for canning at reasonable price shipping was prompt and packaged very well

6 were broken, but other than that I like them.
Somehow about 6 of my jars got broke during during transport I'm guessing. Over all aside from the broken ones these jars are super convinent and great storage. I just use them to store my fruits and veggies in the fridge. I was thinking these would be bigger but they're about the size of a regular peanut butter jar for comparison. I've never canned anything so I don't have any input to offer about how well they work for that sort of thing unfortunately.
