Why did we wait so long?
Works great! Now we can cook/fry outdoors and don't have to worry about stinking up the house. This cranks out the heat when needed but is easy to throttle down if you need a more gentle heat. Decent size works with many sized pots/pans and is super sturdy. Easy to adjust - blue flame.

Great for canning and brewing
Great little compact stove for the backyard. My wife recently purchased and pressure canner and had fits trying to get it to work on an electric stove. The pressure kept going up and down because of the burners going off and on. Thought we would try this to see if it solved the issue. Works great!! Now she is canning all sorts of things. It is easy to assemble and use. its pretty straight forward to use, just connect it to your propane tank and you are set to go. I do wish the hose could be disconnected easier, that would make storage more compact. It is pretty sturdy, the pressure canner weighs about 15 pounds empty, plus water and whatever she is canning that day. The base is holding up well. We have it set up on a glass top patio table when canning.

Just get it already
This little propane burner is GREAT. And only $30?! First off, it's super easy to set up, like less than 2 minutes. I was able to do a ton of canning on our little balcony because the stovetop in our rental is a pos and can't maintain a rolling boil on high heat for longer than 5 minutes. This burner was able to maintain a consistent output of heat for the 20 minutes I needed for each round, and I swear I think I did like 100 jars over 4 days. I will say I wish it came with a wind screen, we had to fashion one out of aluminum foil. The only other thing is the big red dial on the hose doesn't seem to do anything, you still have to control the propane output on the tank itself. Other than those two things, it's very lightweight, compact, and surprisingly strong in output and durability. I was so worried my huge canning stockpot full of water and jars would crush it, but it's cast iron, so there was nothing to worry about at all. If you feel like it I would recommend using an overturned sheet pan like I did to distribute the weight more evenly. Highly recommend!!

Good product for the price you pay. Small compact burner that gets the job done.
Cool little burner for the price point. Purchased this product to fry food outside and worked great out of the box. Only fair waring for new users should be to burn off the powder coating prior to your first use. It gave off some nasty fumes while I was preheating my oil and I was not expecting it. Took a bit to burn off before I was able to start cooking.I do agree with some reviews that the control knob is a bit on the lower quality side with the cheap plastic. But I was able to dial in the flame control to my liking. Only time will tell if the knob will hold up.Overall I am pleased with the product.

Dirt cheap for high quality
Great quality for the price. It works great. Many people have complained about not being able to adjust the flame. However, it is perfectly adjustable. Yes, the flame adjusting dial seems very lose, but that is only until you turn on the gas. The adjustment mechanism works on the diaphragm inside of the regulator. So, it seems loose when there is no gas pressure present. Turn the gas on and it becomes firm. Then, with a slight turn you can either increase or decrease the flame. I forgot to add - Normally, you would turn the knob right to lower the heat. Withe this item, it is the opposite. You turn it right to increase the size of the flame, and you turn it left to lower it. This is this way because it works directly on the diaphragm of the regulator.

Good little burner for the money
Don't buy this expecting a top of the line burner costing 3 times the price, you will be disappointed.Do buy it if you want an inexpensive, compact, and lightweight burner that will do a very good job of tabletop cooing outdoors. The folks saying that the regulator doesn't adjust must not know how to use a LP regulator. It is a little on the flimsy side, but it works just fine. My wife cooked several dozen eggs this morning on it in a #10 lodge skillet, and it will adjust from too cool to cook eggs to a roaring inferno, it just requires a light touch on the knob. I tightened the hose into the burner properly and had no leaks whatsoever, so others either got defective hoses or burners, or don't know how to tighten a hose with pipe threads. The brass threads seemed well machined. The welds on the unit I received looked good. The heat shield was a little bent, but I also bought one of the "Used, like new" units that was a new burner with a damaged box. Easy fix though, it took about three seconds to straighten it out.The only thing that I feel would make it a little better would be if there was one more screw on the heat shield, opposite where the hose attaches to the regulator, to keep it from moving around. Not a big deal though, I can add that myself with a couple minutes work.As others have said, burn it on high for a little while before cooking to burn the paint off so you don't have to smell burning paint while cooking.

Good but limited
It's a good burner that works well, however, I deducted one star because the temperature does not adjust. It only has one high setting.
