Great burner
Great product for the price. Nothing fancy works great. I got an adapter to use a small 1 lbs bottle and it worked but not meant for it the bottle was freezing over quickly its design for a large propane tank but can be done in a pinch or for camping like i was doing very sturdy. Even flame even in the wind. Beware of sharp egdes i cut myseld already. Would buy again and recommend everyone to have as an alternative cooking device incase of emergency

Works great & easy to use. Simple setup and breakdown.
Works great and easy to use. Great for using large cast iron pans as the outer flame is wide with an inner flame as well for even heat distribution on large pans. The valve is highly adjustable making the flame very easy to modulate for a perfect setting no matter what you're cooking. For the money this is definitely a 5 star product.

Work like a charm!!
I had my doubts that this would get the oil hot enough to fry and I’m so glad I was wrong!! Heat output is excellent and my pot was large!! This is an excellent product and a great price!!

Good product for the price you pay. Small compact burner that gets the job done.
Cool little burner for the price point. Purchased this product to fry food outside and worked great out of the box. Only fair waring for new users should be to burn off the powder coating prior to your first use. It gave off some nasty fumes while I was preheating my oil and I was not expecting it. Took a bit to burn off before I was able to start cooking. I do agree with some reviews that the control knob is a bit on the lower quality side with the cheap plastic. But I was able to dial in the flame control to my liking. Only time will tell if the knob will hold up. Overall I am pleased with the product.

Just get it already
This little propane burner is GREAT. And only $30?! First off, it's super easy to set up, like less than 2 minutes. I was able to do a ton of canning on our little balcony because the stovetop in our rental is a pos and can't maintain a rolling boil on high heat for longer than 5 minutes. This burner was able to maintain a consistent output of heat for the 20 minutes I needed for each round, and I swear I think I did like 100 jars over 4 days. I will say I wish it came with a wind screen, we had to fashion one out of aluminum foil. The only other thing is the big red dial on the hose doesn't seem to do anything, you still have to control the propane output on the tank itself. Other than those two things, it's very lightweight, compact, and surprisingly strong in output and durability. I was so worried my huge canning stockpot full of water and jars would crush it, but it's cast iron, so there was nothing to worry about at all. If you feel like it I would recommend using an overturned sheet pan like I did to distribute the weight more evenly. Highly recommend!!

Good little burner for the money
Don't buy this expecting a top of the line burner costing 3 times the price, you will be disappointed. Do buy it if you want an inexpensive, compact, and lightweight burner that will do a very good job of tabletop cooing outdoors. The folks saying that the regulator doesn't adjust must not know how to use a LP regulator. It is a little on the flimsy side, but it works just fine. My wife cooked several dozen eggs this morning on it in a #10 lodge skillet, and it will adjust from too cool to cook eggs to a roaring inferno, it just requires a light touch on the knob. I tightened the hose into the burner properly and had no leaks whatsoever, so others either got defective hoses or burners, or don't know how to tighten a hose with pipe threads. The brass threads seemed well machined. The welds on the unit I received looked good. The heat shield was a little bent, but I also bought one of the "Used, like new" units that was a new burner with a damaged box. Easy fix though, it took about three seconds to straighten it out. The only thing that I feel would make it a little better would be if there was one more screw on the heat shield, opposite where the hose attaches to the regulator, to keep it from moving around. Not a big deal though, I can add that myself with a couple minutes work. As others have said, burn it on high for a little while before cooking to burn the paint off so you don't have to smell burning paint while cooking.

Great high btu camp burner for price!
High btu! Great for large pots. Used for boiling water at camp for crab. Got large amounts of water boiling in short time. Does take some effort to light, the regulator is closer to the propane tank versus the unit, so if you have the propane tank a bit distanced from the cooktop, you’ll need to find a way to light it as you turn up the propane. The regulator has a large range of adjustment, from simmer to raging fire bath! After lighting, it’s pretty simple to use, getting anything you have over it hot fast! Would likely work great as a wok burner. It’s stout, solid metal. Though, I used it on the coast of the PNW for a week of cooking crab, so after day 2 the cast iron burner was already rusted. The frame is coated with paint, which had to cook off on the first use. I coated the thing in oil for storage to best mitigate the rusting. Hoping to get many seasons of camp cooking out of this burner. Only complaint would be that it rusts very easily, and it could really use a windshield. Which I will be crafting up in time.
