Ethiopia: Past and Present

I love this book, the photographs are both an important record and a beautiful insight into another time as well as the present. It makes me want to go to Ethiopia as soon as possible.

This is such a beautiful book with stunning photos of Ethiopia now and in the 1960s. It's perfect for anyone who has been to or wants to go to Ethiopia but it also stands alone as a great photography book too.

Rare to find a photographer who has taken shots on location in Africa back in the 60s and then again just recently - the results are breathtaking and have a depth of vision that is uplifting. A must for anyone interested in Ethiopia, and the only book I have seen that seems to cover just about everything.

My son who is Ethiopian was wanting a picture book he could look through and show his friends and this one is incredible. The pictures are vibrant and if you have never been there you will want to, and if you have, it will tug at your heart and make you want to go back. Ethiopia is an incredible country, and she captures it beautifully. I felt I was there again.
