My cat immediately went to town on this thing straight out the box. She’s usually a pretty lazy old female (16 or 15 yrs young) but when she gets around certain toys her kitten side comes back and she tears things up. It’s like she had some pent up anger out of nowhere and the silvery fish was there in her time of need. She was kicking, tearing and biting at it. It will give your cat that extra enrichment it needs, especially if your cat lives the boring indoor lifestyle.

My cats busted through this in one day. Zipper broken, fabric torn. Unless you have a toothless, de-clawed old cat, I’d get something more durable. I never write bad reviews but man, I really had to with this one.

I honestly wish I’d gotten the bigger size but our tub of a cat loves his fish! He’s been tossing and kicking it for hours with no wear and tear. Well worth it.

My cat loves his new fish ...almost too much. I bought this two pack to give as a Christmas gift to my cat and my brothers cat. Once they arrived in the mail, I tucked them away so that my cat couldn’t get a sneak preview. Well somehow he found it and when I woke up the next morning it was sopping wet from his drool and he looked like he had spent the night doing hard drugs. I give it to him in small doses.

The fabric is so thin and tears and rips very easily.=-(They catnip smell was non existent. I tried to add more but was afraid after pulling the zipper a short way down I was not going to be able to get it back up without breaking it.The catnip inside appeared to be of very low quality.I got these mainly because they were so large as I have to large cats but, no where near worth what I paid for them.My one younger cat had ripped and chewed his to shreds in less the 10 minutes-this was after I had marinated them from the outside with catnip pellets.Cheaply made fabric, lousy catnip, had to work zipper.I would give this one a pass.

This picture is from less then 2 minutes of it being out of the box. She sniffed it for awhile and then set to biting, kicking and rubbing it on her face. We've left them in the main area and they aren't a big hit during the day but when one is feeling frisky they will tussle with it for a bit. My laziest and oldest cat has NO interest in such toys. But my other 2 do, especially the youngest. Cute size for most cats.

I actually feel sorry for this little fishy. The cats growl and fight for it. Once the winner gets the fish, he goes mad crazy on it. I'm sure the catnip plays a part but the enjoyment my cats get from kicking the crap out of this fish is wonderful and so much fun for me to watch. No more bored cats. It's all envy now. I'm going to have to order more fish. So far this one has held up under a tremendous amount of abuse. Made well. Good size too. Well worth the money.Note: My cats do not have claws but their teeth are as sharp as ever and they do their fair share of destroying items around the house. I'll let you know if they shred this fish.Update: It's been a few weeks now and this fish is still in good shape. That makes me happy as I spend a fair amount of time picking up stuffing from not so well made stuffed cat toys. They continue to search for the fish throughout the house and once found will sometimes sit over it meowing at the top of their lungs as if they want me to come see their kill. I'm not sure why they do this as it alerts the other cats as to it's whereabouts. Sometimes causing yet another scuffle over the fish. I still recommend this fish and have ordered more. The cats recommend this fish too. They told me. ;^)
