Aquascape98900 SAB Stream & Pond Clean Water Treatment, 1.1-Pound,White

This product seems to be pretty good at clearing algae build up. We’ve also sprinkled it on the water surface and seems to help stringy GHA. Good product to have on hand for your pond.

The media could not be loaded. I have 1200-Gal pound. Used 10 scoops of SAB had pea soup could only see top 4" saw a small change in 2 days went camping for long weekend came back to the bottom of the pound.

This stuff took care of my string algae. I have had issues for years. I called Aquascape tech support and they suggested SAB. It worked perfectly. My water tested showed everything at 0 except phosphate, which was at 0.25 ppm. The phosphate binder in this product did the trick! Highly recommended.

I ordered this to use in my Koi pond by a recommendation from my pond guy. This helps keep the green out of the water and works very well. Easy to use.

This stuff is great! I had a purple-black algae or sludge that covered the entire bottom and sides of my pond. Started adding a regular maintenance dose as directed and it took about a month but it looks like it will clear completely in another week or so. I had tried everything including completely draining the pond and scrubbing the bottom and sides as well as the waterfall and filter but it always came back in a month. Now just by adding this, the pond clears on its own and the fish seem healthy. I will definitely order more.

Didn’t make any difference in my pond

I use this and an equal amount of granular Aquascape granular algae remover to treat my pond about every 3-4 months. Of course both have to be mixed with a bucket of pond water before applied to the worst areas. Really works great. (It used to come in a 1000g/2.2 lb container.. which is compatible with the size of the granular algae remover. )

My experience before has been with the regular SAB in a bucket. I bought this just to try it and I think it works the same but is a whole lot more expensive. Buy the bucket o' SAB..
