5 STARS!!!Kennedy Ryan does it again!! "This Could Be Us" gives readers Soledad's story, the second book in the Skyland series, and boy oh boy is it a good one. Kennedy Ryan is virtually incapable of misses at this point. I found myself transfixed with Soledad and Judah's story. The pining. The passion. The longing. The lust. The caretaking. The steaminess. The scandal. The intrigue. Oh. My. God. I could NOT put this book down. I stayed up late and woke up early just to finish it because I needed to know how the story ended. Ryan weaves a delicate tapestry of self-discovery, family, friendship, angst, and love, and finds a way to balance the heaviness with some fun and lust. I love the way she writers her dialogue dripping with intensity. Her characters are as fantastic as ever. I adored Judah Cross. *SWOON* I loved Soledad's journey to finding herself after getting divorced from her ex-husband Edward (no spoilers, but one of the best book "villains" I have read in a long time....GOD I LOATHED HIM!). Soledad and Judah's stories are separate but ever-revolving around one another until they converge and...FIREWORKS. Their romance is sooooooo freaking good. I am going to be thinking about them for a long time. As with the first Skyland book, I absolutely loved the relationship between Soledad, Yasmen, and Hen... what an incredible display of female friendship and empowerment, women lifting each other in times of darkness. I also loved the relationship between Soledad and her sisters. This book is incredible, and I urge you to read it as soon as possible. Another tremendous notch in Kennedy Ryan's already stellar belt!

Soledad’s story is truly one of a kind, Jonah is definitely my book husband! This is such a good book and a great series! As a young adult I love how KR books are very relatable! All the feels and things that we go thru in our lives, parenthood, marriage etc. I’m healing from things I’ve been thru myself and her books have definitely helped

Absolutely love this book

An excellently written love story but so much more.Read about Soledad’s journey of self discovery, the strength of good female friendships, parenting, autism and love.This book is a love letter to All About Love by Bell Hooks and it’s great to read about a main character who is also a book lover.If you read Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan, you would have already been introduced to Soledad as Yasmin’s friend. It’s wonderful to know that the next book in the series is Hendricks story, don’t know why I think that might be a sapphic love story.This Could Be Us can be read as a stand alone but why wouldn’t you want to read Before I Let Go? Its brilliant!

I ordered this book after reading Before I Let Go (book 1 in the Skyland series) by Kennedy Ryan. I loved Before I Let Go so much, so following up with Soledad's story in This Could Be Us was a no brainer for me. The book was beautifully written, however, I did wish the story evolved more in the end. It was a slow burn and I'm not a fan of that. (I don't want to say too much without spoiling it). Anyway, a good read nonetheless, I love the dynamic of the relationship and how determined Judah was! Can't wait for book 3 of the series to come out next spring, Hendrix's story!
