Nice book for a collector's's library. well illustrated with interesting and informative text. i plan to order the other Vogue books.

Wonderful book by Vogue on Elsa Schiaparelli, one of the best fashion designers of the early years of fashion design. I don't know why the Hollywood "stars" do not wear vintage Schiaparelli. I would love to have an interviewer ask one of them "who are you wearing?" The answer would be "Schiaparelli".

Having studied fashion at college, Elsa Schiaparelli was one of the designers that in my mind brought fun into clothing when the rest of the world thought it a necessity. The book is well written and through the illustrations conveys the designer's mind. A great book and should bring inspiration to many budding designers as well as being an extremely interesting read.

Impossible to review as kindle version incomplete

I have always been intrigued by this most innovative of designers-unfairly overshadowed by Chanel I feel. This book gives a great insight into the life and work of Schiaparelli and I love the "shocking pink" cover
