AVENGERS: TWILIGHT

I usually don’t go for one off non-canon stories, but this one was incredible into the future a serumless Steve Rogers resident dystopian future much like ours where everything is censored the media controls all information and people are manipulated and enslaved under the guise of security over freedom. Steve Rogers knows he’s the only one that cares enough to do anything about it out to find a new team to deal with the living threat, other than Tony Stark son Jarvis not all is what it seems. This was surprising. The art is absolutely gorgeous and it is satisfying every single way for Captain America book. Should this book was done set it down in front of me and spent 15 minutes contemplating what I just read as satisfied as sitting back into favorite recliner and turning on the football game after a big Thanksgiving dinner, you’re not if you a new fan or an old one, this story is compelling it is thought-provoking and relevant with the political crisis that we face in this country right now read this book you bought it because of my review You’re welcome

Easily the best avengers story of the decade so far

It’s hard to top Acuna painting the avengers and the story is great! Definitely a classic worth owning

A great epic story. I wanted to give this book 4.5 stars. If bits of it were not so rushed (I think this story was epic and big enough for a full 12 issues), I would have rounded it up to 5 stars.The artwork is great and fits the story well. The story is a bit like Kingdom Come by DC, but a more modernised twist of the media (social and otherwise) controlling the narrative of what people down and think.The heroes are dead, the villains are dead, the world is at peace, and Captain America (Steve Rogers) is just a grumpy old man living in the past. This is what everyone believes and is told.Steve still, for his own part, is getting on with his life, though he still makes time to meet his old friends. However, there are some lies even now as an old man without the enhancement of the super soldier serum. Steve can not walk away when people are in trouble in front of him. The other problem is that Steve no longer has the popular or credibility he once had a generation ago. Who will stand with him? What price will they pay? Is it already too late?It's an excellent story arc. It's a bit scary considering the way the world is going right now. On the artwork, a nice touch making old Steve looks very much like a famous Marvel creator. The book finishes with a varient covers gallery and a character sketch book.

Brilliant art, predictable story but with some nice moments and suprise reveals.Lots of fun overall and an interesting comment on the current climate.

Received the product. Very disappointed with the binding. Cover is too small front and back.
