Q: How hard of a baseball throw can this net take? Is this made for a 13U baseball player?

It is like I used as a player many years ago. I believe that it would work fine for a 13U player

I don’t remember the dimensions but it is too big to fit in a suitcase. My granddaughter loves playing softball and volleyball on on this. Highly recommended!

The size of the strike zone is 18 1/2” wide by 21” tall.

Q: If it does not fit in your car, is it reasonable to disassemble it and take it to and from a practice field?

It’s about as wide as a piece of normal Sheetrock so chances are if you don’t have a full-size suv or pickup it’s not going to fit. It didn’t take me very kind to put it together but it would probably get very old taking it a apart and putting it back to gather. Also the height you get on pop flys is minimal so if that’s what you’re looking for I wouldn’t recommend this. It’s a great tool for learning to catch line drives and grounders though
