JOSE GourmetVentresca Tuna in Olive Oil, 120g

This will be a paradoxically negative five star review, because I don't want to fault a high quality product due to my personal taste.Jose Gourmet's products are always excellent, and this ventresca is no exception. These are pretty, tender fillets in high quality olive oil. While the price is slightly above average for ventresca, ventresca is inherently expensive and there are more expensive brands than this one.That being said, I've realized that I simply don't like ventresca as much as a lot of other people seem to. While it is certainly an improvement over other tuna cuts regarding taste and texture, the flavor ceiling just isn't high enough for me to continue buying it. If you like ventresca this is an excellent product, but it will be a one-time purchase for me.

Ok so I thought this tuna would be the end of all tunas considering the $23 price tag. And alas my curiosity got the best of me and I bit the bullet. I found this to be ok/meh. I've had better. The packaging is cute but I didn't buy for the packaging. Anywho don't let me discourage you. You may love this tuna.Just not for me.
