I wasn’t hesitant if this would be a full grain feel and thickness that I wanted. It’s Awesome quality, and I’m very happy with it. 100% would recommend. Solid metal hardware and the leather is thick, pliable and smells great.

I bought collar for Rottweiler so I needed something very durable and I appreciate quality. I think it was under $20 and worth every penny. It has great stitching and the leather is nice and thick. It has NO noticeable stretch after almost 5 months of use. The color seemed to be just as shown in pic. I noticed people were worried about tangled hair or something, which the thought only made it harder for me to pick a collar. I didn’t know folks had that issue and I certainly have not noticed anything tangling up around my dog’s neck. And there isn’t anything slippery about it. This collar fit perfectly with one hole left for growth. My Rottie is still growing and if I need another collar, I will surely buy another one of these.

This is a quality and stylish leather dog collar. I got the black with brown stitching for my Boston Terrier size small and it fits well and has gold accents and leash rings. The sizing holes are tight, but will likely stretch over time. My dog has a white neck and some of the dye came off and discolored his fur (which washed off in the bath).

Great quality. Very strong and durable. We have a 60lb 11month old golden retriever and it’s perfect for him. Fits snug on the smallest loop with lots of room to grow.

Great, but needs 2nd loop improvement. Have had it on my 75# Rhodesian Ridgeback 1.5 years now; ready for a new one. Biggest complaint is that the second leather loop, like a belt loop, to secure the end of the collar, is too big and so the end of the collar comes out and hangs and curls back 3 inches. Just make that second loop smaller and tighter to hold collar in place. Or sew it down. Also, one of the double stitches is coming off, unraveling. Tried a dab of super glue, but still unraveling.That said, she has been to the local dog park hundreds of times, and many times plays rough with the other big dogs off-leash, and this collar has survived all of that without ever coming off or ripping, One reason is the metal buckle securing the collar.I would never use a nylon collar with a snap closure, because I have seen my big dogs in the past break that nylon latch by pulling hard when a leash is attached and temporarily tied down to an immovable object. I also never use a nylon or leather leash, because I have seen big dogs chew through them in ten seconds or less. I only use metal link leashes since then, usually a four foot long one. I can quickly shorten it to two feet or so if we get into a crowd (she's good, but some folks are afraid of bigger dogs) by using a spring loaded carabiner that is threaded through a chain link about halfway down. Just bring it up and snap it onto the ring attaching the leash and the leash handle and instant shortening of the leash.I like the two rings, bottom for the dog tags and the top for a leash, I think. I can't use it with a leash, as my hound like many others has a neck not much bigger than her head, and could back out of the collar if she really wanted to. I have to use a separate metal slip collar and metal leash when I walk her or even get her into the car. (I detach the leash once she is in the car so she can't step on it and choke herself.)

We love this collar for our dog. It looks great, is high quality materials and has lasted several years.

I purchased this product 3 or 4 months ago and both of the rings to hold the tags/leash split open, allowing my dog to get off the leash. Good quality steel that thick would not bend from a 40 lb dog pulling on it. On top of that the leather on the collar is starting to split and fray. I would highly recommend against this product just for the fact that it's a liability. Luckily I was able to get my dog before she took off. Your money would be better spent on a product that will work.
