STURDY. Flexible. Store up to 10 pistols.
A HEAVY DUTY case! You can probably roll a truck over it and not damage it. Beefy hinges, clasps and 2 padlock holes. The padlock clasp will need to be at least 1" to get through the thick lid where the hold is.It is very flexible to setup. There are two layers of foam board 2½" deep cut into approximately 5/8" squares; 25 rows side to side and 18 rows front to back. The perimeter row of the foam is solid, so you have 23 x 17 rows of cubed foam to work, which leaves 5/8" of foam at all edges for cushion. Get some graph paper and lay out plan. You can cut through just the top layer or both as there is a thinner foam layer on the bottom.A long adjustable box cutter works well to trim foam. Search Amazon for "Snap-Off Utility Knife" for examples. The blade length and width vary. A long narrow blade is best for these small foam blocks.A semi-auto pistol is typically an inch wide, so 2 squares of foam wide are needed. A revolver may need one or tow more squares wide. Here is what I found to be needed for some pistols I have. Compare your pistol size specs to get close. - SW22 Victory needs 2 x 23 squares, the full length of removable squares. - Colt 1911 Government model (full size) needs 2 x 22 squares. - HK P30 needs 2 x 12 squares. - S&W Shield needs 2 x 10 squares.A light or laser that extends past the barrel may add another square or two to the length.I wasn't sure if the foam would stand up the weight, so I mostly left two rows of foam between the guns. But I found that the foam is very sturdy. You can get by with one block of foam between the pistols and get 8 pistols sideways. If the pistols are compact like the Shield, you can add two more horizontally for 10 guns. Or put a row of magazines at the end. Consider the weight you will need to carry though. a case with 10 pistols may be heavy. Most magazines use 1 x 2 blocks of foam. but you may need to space out magazines to allow room for large base-plates at the end, some may need 2x2 or 1x4 blocks of space. i.e. the HK P30 and S&W Shield mags fits in a 1x2 hole, but need to have extra room between magazines for the base plates.Stand your base plate against the foam to see what you need and some allow wiggle room.I added a 40 Gram Indicating Desiccant Silica Gel Canister in mine to absorb moisture/humidity in the case. I removed a 1x7 slot of blocks from the top layer of foam. I then laid some foam cubes in the slot sideways to elevate half of the canister into the airspace above the guns. There is a piece of plastic protruding down from the lid about an inch from the front edge in the middle. For some other lid accessory attachment I assume. If you put your guns up the front edge, you may need to trim this off. See my pictures of the lid,The description states "Color: Olive Drab", but mine was black as the picture shows.

Great case!
So I've been looking at this case on Sportsmans Guide but didn't wanna pay $50. I received a $25 Amazon gift card for Father's day and decided to purchase on Amazon. I'm really glad I did. It's worth every bit of $50 asking price. I can comfortably fit 6 handguns with all my magazines as well!!! From left to right in the photo I have my Smith and Wesson SD40, my Taurus Millennium G2 9mm, my Dessert Eagle 1911G, my Glock 30s, my Shield 2.0 9mm with Crimson Trace and the last slot is for my wife's Shield 9mm (not in case as she's out and has it on her person.)as you can see if I wanted to place the guns and mags closer together I could easily fit a couple more guns. The case is very well made (a little heavy) and clamps closed very tightly! This is a great case that will allow me to transport multiple firearms without a huge footprint. Great for taking multiple guns to the range as well or just simply being able to store them all in one case so you can grab and go in a bugout situation!!

VERY well built.
Extremely happy with the thickness, hinges, latches and lock fastening points. Plenty of room for my sub compacts p365 size. Can put at least 4 prob. 5 . Pluslots of mags!Note: came with a noticeable scratch ,gouge at the rear where top and bottom meet. Not functionally bad but aesthetically poor. Would give 5 otherwise.

Great case for 1/3 the price!
This case is phenomenal for the price. Similar case this size go for easily $150+. You can pull foam out and configure this anyway you want. I configured mine to fit 4 pistols and 12 mags. And these are full size pistols, one is my fns40 longslide! It's got a sturdy handle and the case itself is super rigid. Thick shell does make it s little heavy but when it's got over 2 grand worth of pistols and mags in it, I'll take sturdy and protection over lightweight ANYDAY!

Better than expected
This is much stronger made than I was expecting. I was also worried about the pull and pluck squares but they seem to do pretty good, a little slack is in some spots but it holds stuff pretty tight.I even put a couple barrel down to save a little room, this want work with full sized guns but does with my J frame and PM45.I have left a couple spots for future purchases I have in mind.Overall for the money I don’t think you’ll do any better.

Good buy
Had this case about a month. It has the capacity to hold five handguns and mags. Easy to modify the foam to fit your handgun and the case appears to be very durable.

Solid heavy duty case without heavy duty price
Solid case. Very heavy duty. Nice sturdy handle. Using it as a battery box for my kayak batteries. Product description give ext dimensions (description includes trim and not actual box of ext) but no interior dimensions. I asked the question, but the answer given is incorrect. Interior dimensions are 14 7/8 x 10 5/8 x 7.
